Minami Hamabe: Even more recent happenings....

 

 This is Minami's seventh post already for 2021 not including a few drama recaps. That puts her in a tie for third place for most posts this year which is with a recent Nogi graduate. Just began viewing the "Kakegurui Twin' drama which aired in March and April, it's finally getting subbed. Four episodes are completed but they won't be getting done quickly so will wait until at least the sixth show is subbed and then have two batches of four recaps, I really am a fanatic about that series. Minami isn't the star of this season which is a prequel as it's set a year before her character Yumeko enters the prestigious gambling school Hyakkaou Academy. But Minami dos do a cameo after the final credits are done, have just viewed two episodes but am naturally enjoying it.

 As I've said in her previous posts Minami will always be the youngest woman I post about. This will be the first year she's eligible for the yearly faves list and have no clue where she'll end up but a top five position is a possibility. It's taken a while but Minami has finally seen her fan base grow here. In 2019 her posts had the lowest average for views of anyone with six or more posts. Last year she was 26th out of 28 gals but in 2021 she's suddenly become so much more popular and perhaps may even crack the top ten for post average which I didn't think was possible. In about two weeks will have a pair of posts, one for the most viewed posts for the first half of 2021 and who the most popular woman are to date.

 Minami's last post was less than two weeks ago so there's not all that many different activities but bet there may be over 55 new pics. The "Kakegurui 2" film was released on June 2nd though there wasn't a premiere but there was an event today and will and off with pics from it. Minami has done a few recent interviews for the film, this set is from the Real Sound site.

 There aren't many actresses who do more CM's than Minami does and have a new one which is kind of different. It's for 'Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly' and the election they're having on July 4th, she's not asking voters to elect her but bet she could win an election! Election video

 No new mag spreads but there should be a pair in her next post, Minami has had so many lately wonder if a vacation is on the horizon which is rare for her. But this batch of pics are better than most mag spreads and Minami has been doing so much more modeling this year. Don't know if she's now a permanent model for Arpege/Rirandture but really hope so as these pics for their Summer collection are among her finest.

 The "Kakegurui 2" film was released on June 2nd, last weekend at the box office it finished in eighth place which is a decent finish as it's got mainly a cult following. No premiere was held on that day but there was an event today to thank the fans for making the movie a hit. It took place at the TOHO Cinemas in Hibiya but no fans were allowed but it was streamed to other cinemas around Japan. Minami looked her usual adorable self but perhaps it's too early for any even videos as there are none. After the pics have kind of an oddish yet entertaining new CM for Menicon.
