Marie Iitoyo: Hopefully the onset of another avalanche of posts but....

 

 .... I'm not holding my breath that'll be happening. Up until May 13th Marie had thirteen posts in the first twenty weeks of 2021 but only one after that up until this post. So that pace to top last year's record of 26 posts has slipped and she's slightly behind it but though it's been a slow stretch this is one person I never worry about for posts. Actually many times when a fave who usually has many posts goes a while without one doesn't mean they're not busy. Often they're filming a drama/film or doing some photo shoots for a magazine or a modeling site. That could be the case with Marie at the moment and wonder if she may be working on the third season of 'Kimi to Sekai' which will be airing later on this year. Have also just discovered she'll be in her first Asadora series "Chimudondon" that won't begin until 2022 but they do film much of those dramas well in advance.

 Few of the above pics are from Marie's first and only photobook that came out in January 2018, how I wish she would put out a second one. So as I was talking about she has been a busy gal though we haven't been seeing much of her lately, two upcoming dramas and has already been in three this year. About 98% sure that past winners of the yearly faves list will be eligible for future lists, not sure why I did it but once someone was #1 for a year they were ineligible for any more yearly lists. The past three number ones should make this year's top twenty and though it's been a slower stretch the past two months would have to say Marie is still the gal to beat!!!! Few others have inched closer and hope more do but kind of thinking it'll be tough to dethrone her.

 Was hoping to hold off on this post until Sunday but been kind of itching to get back to posting about Marie and there's also not much else going on with most of my other faves. But do have over sixty new pics though many are screenshots, she hasn't had a decent mag spread for many months now. On September 5th the Autumn/Winter 'Kansai Collection' show will be held but don't know if she'll be appearing at it, hope so as it's been three months since her last event. But Marie always attends the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and their Autumn/Winter show will be held at the end of September. No new event pics so here's some super duper ones from the March 30, 2019 TGC show, did do a post back then for it but some of these weren't included in it.

 Marie had the lead role in the drama "Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi which ended it's eight episode run on May 29th. But it hasn't really ended which I'll explain after this new batch of interview pics from the Crank site for the show.

 The drama began on April 29th and aired on Paravi which is a cable network. However it's going to be rerun on TV-Tokyo and that'll start tonight, they're 24 minute episodes. Those eight shows were never subbed but have watched most of them and am hoping now that it's going to be shown again someone will pick up the show to sub it. Really hope so as though it's been easy enough to follow do miss so much of what's being said. That's because her character Tsugumi often mumbles to herself but in a way no subs does help me with paying more attention to figuring out what's being said.

 Have some screenshots from the third episode and also the two posters for the series. Tsugumi is quite an introverted young woman who works at a convenience store but it's quite a dead end job. In the second episode she was quite discouraged because all of the customers ignored her but she she should have wished it stayed that way. In this show seemed every customer would hop into Tsugumi's line, all of them had an issue with the store and laid out their complaints to her! Tsugumi just wants to make it though a day so she can view what new restaurant her fave poster White Horse has visited.

 She's never met him but he's an office worker in his thirties and like Tsugumi is quite an introverted person with no friends. But think they'll be meeting up soon and she's this man's only follower, he does visit some out of the way eateries which to Tsugumi are the best. Though she does shy away from people Tsugumi too often meets others when she's out trying that new restaurant White Horse recommended. Such as this show where the guy next to her got quite tipsy and it's scenes like those which is where I really depend on subs. May sound like a boring show but that's not the case as Tsugumi is a bit of a funny and wacky gal. Second poster is for the TV-Tokyo rerun.

 In August Marie will be celebrating her third anniversary as a Oggi model. Over that period of time her best pics have been from their site and have some new ones for today. But there's been such a lack of them for her lately, just eight new ones where there usually would be over twenty.

 But do have many super duper new pics from the More site, some of her best ones ever from the magazine and Marie's been a model for them for quite a long time. No recent videos either but as I said in the beginning sometimes a slow stretch means someone is working on many things so hopefully that avalanche in the title will be an accurate prediction. So was viewing many of Marie's older videos and came across a real ancient CM for Abema-TV from five years ago which is after the pics.
