Nao Kanzaki: Top sixteen faves for 2021 by post average- part one, positions sixteen to nine

Made finishing this list my number one priority over other posts so got it done three days early. Think this makes the fourth year in a row with a yearly list in this vein and it's similar to my top sixteen. Which means you could consider this 'The Viewers Top Sixteen Faves of 2021' list and will get more into how we matched up in the next post. That's right below this one and has the top eight. Just like my fave's list the only thing needed to be eligible was to have six or more regular posts, that means drama and film reviews aren't counted. Will mention it as we go along but was I shocked at how the list turned out and was I wrong on almost every position.... that includes #1!!!! In all 28 women qualified and use the intro for those who didn't make the top sixteen.

The post average is very easy to figure out but can be time consuming for someone who has many posts. For instance if someone had ten posts that received 5,000 views their average would be 500. The only posts that counted were ones that were done between December 1, 2020 and November 20th of this year. Didn't count the last ten days of November as I didn't think five weeks was enough time to accumulate that many views. At the very top is Tomi and have given up on the hope that one day she may be popular here. Of the 28 who qualified for this list she had the lowest average as her posts had an average of 401. But in a way that's not too bad as in 2019 the last place gal had 235 for an average and it rose to 325 last year so perhaps 401 is kind of okay. But didn't think she would finish in the cellar, the person I predicted was Tsubasa who just had a post today. Her average post received 423 views and she had six posts for the year, her first one was done in 2012 so she too will never be all that popular with you viewers.

One more tidbit before we begin the countdown. Posts from previous years still garner so many views so what I've done a few times is a list like this but going back three years. Did one in March that included stats from 2018 to the end of 2020, if it's a slow period again in March will do a list from 2019 up until the end of this year. In 2020 Yuki kind of ran away from the pack and thought she would do so this year too, check the next post to see if it happened! She set a record in 2020 as her eight posts had an average of 1,394 views and they haven't stopped. Just checked those eight posts out today and that average has risen to.... 2,711 views per post!!!! Wow, obviously people love to check out older posts for certain gals and have to give thanks to everyone for doing so.

This will have the same format as the list for the most popular posts of the year. Will list the position, name, average, what it was last year if they also made the list and a link to a random post. Lot of newbies on the list this year as many long time faves didn't make the cut having six or more posts. Many surprises too as mentioned and most were pleasant ones, especially #'s 16 and 13. The countdown goes from sixteen to nine in this post, top eight are in the next one.

#16, Nene Shida.... Her seven posts for 2021 had an average of 629, not on last year's list.

Of course she didn't make last year's list as her first post wasn't done until a year ago. This was a nice surprise as Nene has become a huge fave of mine and finished 13th on this year's list, as long as she has enough posts she'll make every yearly faves list. What an increase as #16 last year had an average of 562 views per post.

#15, Miona Hori.... Eleven post this year averaged 661 views, was seventh in 2020.

Bit of a drop from seventh to fifteenth but not a huge drop in average as in 2020 that figure was 682. What that means is most posts are getting so many more views and the total amount of views increased 14% this year compared to 2020, over 35% going back to 2018! Slowish second half of the year for Miona as she's just had two posts after July which was a major reason for falling down so many spots. She does have a new drama beginning next month so hopefully next year will be a bit busier.

#14, Minami Umezawa.... 690 average for nine posts, in 2020 was in the 13th position.

Drop of one position from last year but it's very deceiving on why. In 2020 that average was 605 and it zoomed all the way up to 690, that's one nice increase! Problem is so many others also increased but that's still a nice average to me as I always thought Minami wasn't all that popular here or at least to the extent of other Nogi members.

#13, Minami Hamabe.... Her nine posts averaged 695, didn't make the list in 2020.

Second closest battle between positions as the difference was just five views a post and also the only gals on the list who share the first name! Minami has really grown to being such a huge fave of mine and as you can see by you viewers too. In 2020 her posts had the second to worst average which was 373, what an impressive jump she made this year and hope those views will remain high.

#12, Asuka Saito.... 733 average for nine posts, didn't make the list in 2020.

Another surprise as for so long Asuka's posts also weren't so popular. Don't know what her 2020 average was but it was probably at least 200 views lower. Don't do as much posting about Nogi these days but four members made the top sixteen along with two graduates.

#11, Miru Shiroma.... 752 average for eight posts, was 14th on the 2020 list.

Jump of three positions from 2020 and also a huge increase in views. Last year she had an average of 584 views per post so you can see what an increase it was. This will probably be Miru's last time being eligible for a yearly list and she's done so little since leaving NMB. She's quite busy on her YT channel but there's been so little else to post about this long time fave of mine.

#10, Mizuki Yamashita.... 754 average for eight posts, was third on the 2020 list!

Tightest battle as only two views separated these two positions. Wow, what a drop this year compared to 2020 and wasn't expecting that. In 2020 Mizuki's posts had an average of 1,102 views so she dropped by about 30%. I think the main reason is in 2020 she had a photobook come out so there were many scantly clad mag spreads and such. Photobooks make a huge impact on an average, you'll see how much when we get to the top eight.

#9, Nana Owada... Six posts had an average of 775 views, didn't make the 2020 list.

Final entry for this post. Nice comeback for Nana who had the second highest average in 2019 but didn't even make the top sixteen last year. She's extremely streaky when it comes to posts, there will be three in two months then zero for the next three. None now for over a month so guess that means to expect some beginning in January or at least I hope so.
