Nogizaka46: The glittering 'Mizuki Yamashita post' #8....
Kind of surprising this is only her eighth solo post but then again the first one was just done exactly a year ago. Was thinking should I have two medium sized posts for today or one massive one? The latter won out and sure most will approve of that decision. That's naturally because the post is for Mizuki who is such a fave of you viewers, last year she was the second most popular Nogi member as far as solo posts go. Overall Mizuki's posts had the third highest average of anyone which slightly shocked me but then again as her posts are usually quite terrific. No new pics in the vein like these top ones from her first photobook but have plenty of recent ones to please her huge fan base.
Mizuki's last post was done just six weeks ago, though Nogi released their 26th single on January 27th it was kind of a slow month for them. As a group that is as about five members are always busy and three of them are from the third generation. Mizuki for the first time was the center for Nogi's last single which is titled "Boku wa Boku o Suki ni Naru" which of course hit #1 on the charts it's first week out. However the 589,000 copies sold in that first week was the lowest total in many years. Hope she doesn't receive any of the blame as there's so many other factors that contributed to the lowish sales such as the virus, no handshake events and plus way too many popular members have graduated.
No Nogi events for this year so far but was just at the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' site and finally saw some Nogi members have been added to the list who will be attending. It's this group of five but thought there would be more, the other pics are from the TGC Summer show held on July 27, 2019.
That show will be five days after the second 'Nogi Birthday Concerts'. Surprised a good mate of Mizuki's isn't scheduled to attend and will try to have a post for her very, very soon.
For so long that mate of Mizuki's was by far Nogi's best blogger but think she's now become #1 in uploading pics to it. These are from the past month and could have had twice as many.
What I've been noticing as of late is the lack of new modeling pics, not just for Nogi and Keya but just about everyone I post about. Mizuki has been an exclusive model for CanCam since August 2018 but they only had a few new pics at their site so will save them for her next post. But she's now a model for Shufu kimonos and this is her first batch of pics from them.
No new Nogi Valentine's cards but do have a few superb golden oldies.
Hasn't Mizuki's looks really changed so much in the last two years and to me she looks so, so much better. This will be the final batch of pics from the "Keep Your Hands Off Eisouken" drama, it was a show I really enjoyed but wish it was longer than six episodes. Mizuki played the character of Tsubame who came from a wealthy family that despised how she was such a fanatic of animes. So she hooked up with a pair of other gals at her high school to create the Eizouken club and by the final episode the group finished it's first anime. There was a film that came out on September 25th that picked up where the series ended, these screenshots are from the final three episodes.
Mini group spread from the January 25th issue of WPB, everyone just had one solo page and the bottom two pics are bonus ones.
At the bottom of the post will have a new CM for Haruyama suits, it features the new single and the behind the scenes segment was an entertaining watch.
Mizuki used to appear on the weekly variety show "Hiru Nan Desu" but that ended a month ago. But she's now appearing on a variety show called "Azatokute Nani ga Wari no?" and she began that on January 30th, she also stars in some drama segments that appear during the show. Final set of pics is from the February 3rd edition of Anan and Mizuki really looks so super duper.
