Keyakizaka46: Their seventh exuberant post for 2022!

If you're reading this then guess you're not too tired of '46' posts but as mentioned a few times this has been a slow stretch for my fave actresses and models. But then again after two years of it being so difficult to have group posts this recent period of seven posts in eight weeks has made Keya my current #1 J-Pop group again. These posts will be slowing down though, will try to have another at the end of the week and after that because of their new single think Hina will take over the limelight. Of course this is Yui at the top and there's no woman I've missed doing posts for these past seven months than her. She did have a solo one in March but that's been her only post since early December, can't think of anyone who I'd rather see have a second photobook than Yui, sigh....

This will still be a large post but will make it a bit smaller than their other recent ones. It's also another post that I wrote up a day early so I can have some time to work on a non '46' post, hopefully it pans out but am not overly confident. "Samidare yo" is the title of Keya's 12th single that was released on April 6th, it's the fourth since the name change to Sakura. That's sold a little over 426,000 copies to date and they're in a semi rut as their two previous singles have sold about 435,000 copies each, this current single will probably end up there too. Guess that can't be considered a 'bad rut' as that's still a decent number sold and least their sales are staying steady but why so new fans? Keya has a newish CM out for AEON which produces Keya credit cards, they've had so many CM's for them over the years and here's a fun video which is a behind the scenes one: AEON video

There's been so much variety in these group posts and am going to miss doing them when their activities slow down but Hina posts are also fun to do. Hikaru has really become such a popular member of the group though not many new pics lately. Have some here from the Keya 'Diary' blog, she'll be hitting the age of 21 in less than two months and is still the shortest '46' member. Two of the pics are from an April MTV awards show, Keya was named the top pop group for 2021.

The Spring/Summer 'Girls Award' show took place today, it's their first regular one in 2 1/2 years. It was held at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba, no audience was allowed but it was streamed live. Six members were at the show, taking a spin together on the catwalk were Hono and Rena. Would like to see more of them together and they were promoting Samantha Thavasa handbags.

EDIT: Was wondering why no Nogi members were at this show but just found it was day one of their tenth birthday concerts.

That duo are my top two second generation members and try to have solo posts for them. They both took a stroll by themselves so will try to have those pics in a solo post but they've been close to impossible to have lately for either of them. So will have a few more super duper pics of them for today which are promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game. Rena is first off so naturally that means Hono is right after her, first four cards for each are from April while the others are new for May.

That pair may be my faves from the second generation but do like all of the members, one reason is almost all are 21+ in age. Have another set of promo pics for the game with more 2G gals, first off is Kira who I seldom mention in posts and she's followed by Marino who is another member not seen here too often but both do get a lot of air time on the 'Soko' show.

Still not many mag spreads this year but the ones the members have had are all superb. Not sure of the count but to me it seems Rei has had more solo spreads than any other member and she has the cover for the new issue of Platinum Flash which is a quarterly magazine, bottom five are bonus pics.

As usual will be ending off with a mini recap from Keya's "Soko Magattara Sakurazaka?" variety show that airs on Sunday nights. As is the case with Hina have been doing so many of these recaps that I'm caught up with the site doing the subs but the subs for the Keya shows often aren't done for 3-4 weeks after it aired. In yesterday's Keya post had part one of the 'Wolf Queen Team Championship', this is episode #77 that aired on April 17th. The object of the game is to guess which member is telling the truth. There's usually 4-5 members on a team which is trying to trick the other team on who is telling the truth and can't believe how little the members knew about each other!!!!

Won't go into many details of what took place, the screenshots follow the action as it happened. The two reams were Red Konnyaku and Cool, they should have been named 'Cool Blue'. If a team can guess which member was telling the truth they get ten points but it's not as easy as it seems as all of the members are lying. The winner gets some exquisite yummy pastries and after the first show they were tied at ten points. In this show neither team could guess who the member telling the truth was so there was no winning team. But the co-host Tsucchi also would take a guess at who the member telling the truth was, he got three out five challenges correct so he was the winner and don't know if he ended up treating the losing teams!
