Keyakizaka46: Their gleeful ninth group post of the year....

 

 Fully realize that this blog really does mean zero for what takes place in the world but still thought it was appropriate to take a day off after yesterdays' tragedy. Technically perhaps not a day but it has been 36 hours since the last post. Then again a new day with Blogger begins at 12:00 am GMT so for all of us it is the next day if that makes sense. Plus had only three posts in three days so didn't want to take yet another day off.

 Little while back began thinking this could be a nice place to 'escape' to. I don't do any posting about scandals, politics, trends, social media and other negative happenings, there's enough sites that do that. Wonder if just having posts for actresses, dramas, models and Idols is why this blog has become so popular over the years? Maybe there's many more like me out there who are just so tired of all the negativism in the world, especially at social media sites, and I try to keep things positive here. Hmmm, with a trio like these hard for things not to be rosy here....

 This is either the third or fourth consecutive odd Keya group post. What I mean by odd is that once again there's no event pics nor any recent mag spreads yet the posts have been darn good and this one has 106 new pics! The short term goal is to have at least one post a week for the next two months, one a week for a member would be nice too. Why I think it could be done is because on August 3rd the group will release their first album under their new Sakaura name. Title of the album is "As You Know?" but as of now the track list hasn't been released. There was supposed to be a video that came out today for one of the new songs but that was delayed because of yesterday's tragedy.  At the beginning of each month the 21 members all have a short message at the Keya site, Have fourteen pics here and also the link to the site if you want to view all the messages.... first off there is Minami but you can go visit the other member's blogs: Keya blog 

 Have more Minami because we never see enough of her these days. This is a set of eight cards for their fourth single "Samidare yo" and also have eight cards for Fuyuka.

 Both above are of course first generation members and it seems like eons since they've been in a magazine spread. Can say the same for Keya's captain Yuuka who led the post off, have some recent blog pics but even there she's slowed down on them.

 That bottom pic was from Risa's May 22nd graduation concert. Have been able to do monthly posts for a pair of Nogi members who also graduated this year, hope I can do the same for her. Of course you've come to expect promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game in every post and have a quartet of members for today. These are June pics, don't think the ones for July have come out yet. Four pics for each and in order they go Akiho, Marino, Karin and Rina who is deserving of her first solo post.

 Am back to ending these posts off with a mini recap for the group's 'Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka?' show. The recaps are mini as I let the vast amount of screenshots explain what took place and they go in order of the action. Had taken a break from viewing this show as it had gone downhill but it's rebounded this year and could once again be the most enjoyable '46' show. This was episode #85 that aired on June 15th, the title was 'Ranking of Everything'.

 Thought there would be many of these rankings to see what the members thought of each other but there was only three but the segments were fun enough. There's 21 members left, they voted for who was the best at certain things. First off was who was Keya's best dancer and even before the results were announced knew who the winner would be. That's my current #1 '46' member Yui and she deserves to be back in the spotlight more often. She was the runaway number one dancer according to the other members, they showed some concert clips and have to say there's no way I could do what Yui does.... neither can any of other Keya gals! Up next for a category was who was Keya's top gourmet eater? I kind off though Yuuka would be number one by the other members but she was just in third place. In a shocker to the members(huh?) Aoi was chosen as Keya's top expert on gourmet eating and after hearing her talk can understand why she was chosen. Almost forgot to mention Aoi will be graduating in two weeks. A show is only 25 minutes and by the time those two segments ended we were at the seventeen minute mark which left time for just one more ranking. The question was who is Keya's best singer, the answer kind of surprised me. Getting 15 out of 21 votes(!) was Keya's vice-captain Rina and think that was the right choice. She ended the show off singing a solo song and will say I was impressed but will that voice ever make her a center?
