Keyakizaka46: The fifth stimulating.... Rena Moriya post!

 

 This is someone who's really zoomed up on my fave's list this year and perhaps is close to being one of my top five current J-Pop Idols. None of Rena's previous four posts have made that section for most viewed posts of the past month but all have drawn a healthy amount of views. One more post and she'll qualify for this year's fave's list and perhaps even make the top ten on it. At the top are two new promo pics for Rena's first photobook that comes out in two weeks, will end off with plenty more from the book. To me she looks so darn alluring in a bit of a demurely way, other Idols may be more bodacious but I prefer the way she looks over 90% of anyone else I post about.

 Just did a Keya(Sakura) post a few days ago but hopefully can have another within the week. Last Tuesday they released their first album since the name change, title of it is "As You Know?" and think it sold close to 125,000 copies in it's first week out. Sales weren't helped by the fact that a dozen members caught the virus and had to cancel out on some music shows. They also had to cancel their two 'W-Keyaki Fes' concerts but in ten days will be doing the first of two make up shows so hope that helps the sales a bit, don't singles and albums sell so fewer copies these days? Personally don't buy as many CD's these days as my collection is just way too large and I much prefer having an album in it's physical form.  Few recent pics from Keya's group 'Diary' blog and most members still post there.

 With the book coming out soon thought there would be a lot of Rena mag spreads but there's been zero solo ones since May. But have one here from the February issue of Mini that hadn't been posted.

 Of course always have to have a few promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game, these are from July and will have Rena's August ones in her next post which hopefully will be this month.

 Then again may hold off just a bit on that post as for the second time Rena will be making an appearance at a fashion show. That'll be the September 3rd 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and here's all the members that will be there.

 So far haven't seen any group cards for the new album but have these missed ones from their last single "Samidare yo" that came out on April 6th.

 Rena did attend university for a while and she was studying to be a child care worker so you would think she has some smarts. That's not the case on the group's 'Soko' variety show as she's often the butt of jokes for the difficulties she has reading the Japanese language! However as you can see by the bottom ten screenshots from a June 'Soko' show that Rena is so passionate about chocolates and in that episode she really was impressive with how much she knew about that sweet.

 In exactly two weeks Rena's first photobook will be released, the photo shoots took place in Tokyo, Okinawa and Nagasaki. Guess it's expected to be a big seller as the advance printing is 100,000 copies and think only three other Keya books have ever sold that many. The odd title for the book is "Egao no Guu, Choki, Paa" and the first five pics below are the covers. There's 21 other promo pics and at first the ones released were a bit conservative but all looked oki doki to me. However the last week or so have seen many swimsuit pics come out and while Rena may not be as gravure-ish as others she looks so mighty fine in my eyes! To promote the upcoming book she did host 'Showroom' on July 29th, video of it is after the pics.
