"Kamen Rider Geats" series: Episode six of ?? recap

Main Cast: This will be an ongoing work in progress and this section may never be 100% complete! Most was written up after viewing the first episode though we didn't meet every character and sure a bit more will be added in for every show but hopefully most things will be known by the fifth or so episode. All of the riders are fighting an alien race called Jamato.

Desire Grand Prix rules

 Not all about the game has been revealed yet but this is what's known after two episodes. The contest lasts for six months, during it a Kamen Rider gets points with the most being for killing the alien Jamatos. Points can also be earned for saving human lives and other acts of heroism but not as many as slaying a Jamato. At the end of the contest the winner gets to choose what kind of world he wants to see exist, check on Ace below to see his wish as he won the last contest. Once a contest ends any person involved will have their memories reset and know zero about the contest and Jamato army so that person can live their live in peace. If they return for another contest those memories will return. Will update this section too as we go along.

Hideyoshi Kan as Ace Ukiyo/Kamen Rider Geats.... He truly is an ace fighter though slightly arrogant and is the most current winner of the Desire Grand Prix. Ace had a very unique and selfish wish for his new world. It would be one where he would be the Star of Stars or in other words immensely popular and to say he has a huge ego would be an understatement!

 Ryuga Sato as Keiwa Sakurai/KR Tycoon.... Newest Kamen Rider who was recruited at the end of the first episode. Keiwa is the younger brother of Sara and he was a college student who had been looking for work with no success.  His weapon is a powerful Armed Arrow. has also acquired a Booster Buckle which makes weapons even more powerful.

 Yuno Hoshino as Neon Kurama/KR Nago.... She was also recruited at the end of the first episode and is the youngest Kamen Rider. Neon comes from a very wealthy family and until becoming a 'superhero' had been a very influential celebrity influencer, especially among high school girls. Her weapon is an Armed Hammer.

 Kazuto Mokudai as Michinaga Azuma/KR Buffa(buffer).... Think the Buffa is actually short for Buffalo and he is as tough as one! He has two weapons, one being a Water Shooter and obtained his second from KR Dapan which is a Magnum.

 Ryunosuke Miyamoto as Kanato Sumida/KR Dapan.... High school senior who is a new recruit and is so bitter about life due to an accident. He was eliminated from the contest at the end of the fourth episode.

 Koji Abe as Morio Koganeya/KR Merry.... Bit of a playboy and also such lowlife criminal who had worked as a casino dealer but stole all of their money!

 Tomoharu Hasegawa as Takahito Taira/KR Ginpen.... Is the personnel manager at an IT company that screens for future Kamen Riders. He himself became a rider in the second episode and his reason for wanting to win is to help his severely sick son.

 The others of the cast, don't think many more will be added in

Kokoro Aoshima as Tsumuri.... Navigates the Grand Prix as far as figuring out the points and other tidbits go but don't know enough about her yet.

 Nene Shida as Sara Sakurai.... My main reason for watching this show! She's the older sister of the newest Kamen Rider Keiwa and works as an OL.

 Will be updating a lot of the bio info for the next recap, all of it is correct but much has happened in the last 1 1/2 episodes. Plus we may not be seeing some of the characters listed so may have to delete them. Not that it matters too much but did leave something out of the above recap, sometimes editing just a few sentences can be such a chore! When Michinaga aka KR Buffa went to Ace's house with his construction crew it was for a TV show. That show is titled 'Big House Reality' and the show will be observing how Ace redoes the mansion over. Ace has such a swelled head but there is no better Kamen Rider and when the chips are down he is someone who will help another Rider out, cant say the same for a few others. We're in the third contest of the Desire Grand Prix game which lasts for six months. There's three phases to this match, the first two have been completed with only the team of KR'S Geats and Nago getting any points.

 Whoever gets the most points at the end of the six month Grand Prix gets to choose what kind of world they want to live in, points are gotten by killing the alien Jamatos. Ace aka KR Geats won the last contest and his wish was to live in a world where he's the 'Star of Stars' or in other words the most popular man on Earth! When you enter the contest a Rider has to fill out a wish card at that time saying what kind of world they want to live in. In the first screenshot KR Buffa was telling KR Geats his perfect world would be one without.... any Kamen Riders! KR Buffa hates all of them but that got me thinking, if he wins does that mean he may die too? A year or so ago Michinaga's best friend Toru had been killed by the Jamato army, that's in the bottom screenshot. Arriving on the scene too late to save his friend was KR Geats and since that day Michinaga has blamed KR Geats for the death but he's way off base with assigning the blame, it's the main reason he's now KR Buffa.

 In this current match the Riders for the first time have been teamed up, with five Riders that's impossible to do! So KR Merry was given a reserve named KR Punk Jack who isn't allowed to talk and though this alternate seems to be a good fighter him and KR Merry have killed zero Jamatos after two rounds. KR Merry has accumulated some money from the previous matches, with that he can spend the cash to get a new partner. So he drew the name of KR Buffa out of a hat though there was a bit of cheating going on. It was discovered that in real life his name was Morio and had once been a dealer at a very prestigious casino. Morio has some slick hands which is how he was able to draw KR Buffa's name. And at the casino Morio somehow swindled all of their revenue and fled, he's still a wanted criminal and what a lowlife this guy is. Now that he has a new partner KR Punk Jack has been teamed up with KR Tycoon aka Keiwa, could this be the end for him? That's because the lowest score will be eliminated from the the Grand Prix and unless a miracle happens this could be the last we see of KR Tycoon who is probably the nicest Rider. 

 Calling KR Merry a lowlife is actually sort of too nice! Know that he's stolen a mega amount of $$ from his casino, may have had a hand in the death of KR Dapan, cheated drawing a new partner and has just stolen KR Tycoon's Boost Buckle, there could be many other things too! Don't know what his wish is if he wins the Grand Prix but no other Rider wants to see that happen, even his new partner KR Buffa. He still hates KR Geats but is coming to realize he has to work with the other Riders if he wants to have any chance of winning the Grand Prix and he did show his semi 'nice side' a few times. KR Merry had given the Boost Buckle to KR Buffa, that device makes your weapons that much more powerful and it would be better if it was used with KR Buffa's Magnum Shooter. But he did feel slightly guilty about how he got the weapon so offered KR Tycoon a chance to get it get back. 

 It was a match against KR Merry, KR Buffa buried the Boost Buckle in the sand and if KR Tycoon could reach the weapon first he could keep it. That's in a screenshot above, while KR Tycoon did get the buckle first it was wrestled away by KR Merry, things are looking quite bleak for KR Tycoon. It's time for battle as the third wave of Jamatos has attacked and they're an odd bunch of aliens. They're called Trump Jamato whose mission is to kidnap loving couples(!), they look similar to playing cards hence the name Trump. When one dies you see playing cards going up in the air but it's very difficult to kill these Jamatos. That's because there's two of each, for instance there's two five of clubs. Those two Jamatos have to be killed at the same time which is why the Riders have been teamed up. The game's navigator Tsumuri has called this battle a 'Game of Concentration' as the Riders need to pick out two of the same cards in the Jamato army. The team of KR Geats and Nago have a huge lead, they'll win this contest but of the other three Riders who will be eliminated from the Grand Prix?

 Bit of a twist ending and it was nice to see justice against KR Merry! One thing I've been noticing is that these Jamato creatures aren't as strong as others in previous series nor have we met any of their leaders. But in the closing seconds we did briefly see a potential new character who works with the above woman Tsumuri and that person did discuss the Jamato leaders so that should be something we'll be hearing about soon. Back to the battle against the Trump Jamatos and which of the five Riders will be eliminated? It really appeared it would be KR Tycoon for a while but in my head thought that would never happen as he could end up being the whole key to the series. While KR Tycoon was fighting these creatures jumping in to help him out was of all people KR Buffa who also returned his powerful Boost Buckle. We didn't know an event had taken place until this skirmish was underway. In the top screenshot above the game's navigator Tsumuri made an announcement which was that KR Buffa had spent his winnings and chose a new partner!

 Like the other Riders there's no way KR Buffa wanted to see this evil KR Merry advance, his only option was to join forces with KR Tycoon! Smart decision by KR Buffa as he did end up working well with KR Tycoon and as you can see above the pair were able to accumulate 200 points. Not enough to win this contest but enough where neither would be eliminated from the Desire Grand Prix. So naturally that meant the odd man out was KR Merry who was furious with what took place. His defeat was well deserved as as he's cheated so many others along the way and as the saying goes Payback is a bitch! As you can also see above Tsumuri said KR Merry wasn't deserving of being a Rider, she also said that about KR Dapan. So that means we're now down to four Riders to protect the Earth and in every other series I've viewed there's been at least five. So that may mean we'll be seeing another new Rider come along and that is something that happens often in most Sentai series. One final note is that KR Tycoon asked Tsumuri what happens to the Riders who get eliminated? She told him they go back to leading their normal human lives but I kind of doubt that and it wouldn't be surprised if they were also eliminated in real life!
