Yui Kobayashi: Making one final push to be this year's #1 fave!!!!
Bit of a slow week for my faves but it has given me a chance to work on some things. Such as the film review below this post and these days I just don't view enough of them. Plus will begin writing up the first two positions for the yearly faves list tomorrow and will begin the countdown on Tuesday. Will also have another position on Wednesday and hope to have five by the end of the month. This year the list will just have sixteen as only 26 qualified which sounds easy to achieve as just six posts are needed but that's the lowest total in five years. May even do another preliminary post tomorrow for the list for as of now have zero to post about tomorrow and hope that changes!
So for the last 3 1/2 months it's been a two way battle for this year's top spot. Yui had been number for a while and she's flip flopped a few times with her rival. But as of now would place Yui in the second position and that's not her fault in the last. This is her 14th post of the year which is a record for her and nine have been since August 1st so not being busy isn't a reason if she ends up in the second position. However that's not written in stone and have mentioned for years how Yui is my most likable woman and the top spot is still within each, #1 will be revealed on December 20th.
One thing I truly hate about photobooks is when they have one photo take up two pages. It's so difficult to combine the two pages and usually just have half of a photo. Posted Yui's first photobook back in July 2020, it was released in March 2019. There were five photos that were two pagers so you only saw half of the picture. But have gotten three of those pics recently and here they are, the top one is another two pager that had been posted before. These pics are now so much better and that bottom one deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.... whewwww!!!!
Of course a few of you want to see some pics from her newest photobook, many have been seen before but a few are new pics. The book came out on October 4th so wouldn't post the entire thing until next year. Only have one other '46' book to get to which will be done on January 1st.
Yui had five posts in October, four were for new happenings while one was for an older 'Keyakitte' episode. That last post was done on October 31st so that means there shouldn't be a huge amount of things but there's probably 45-50 new pics. Her next will be done whenever her position on the list comes up, that'll be either December 18th or 20th. She does have her own IG page which she opened last month, the pics are all terrific but wish there were more of them.
That bottom pic is from November 9th and Keya's captain's final concert. In Yui's last two posts had some older promo cards from 2019 that had never been posted before. They were from the "Otome Kagura: Requiem for a Zombie" game that had the voices of members from the three '46' groups. There weren't all that many cards for the non-Nogi members as this will be the final batch and as you can see she voiced the character of Ayana.
There are some newish Keya cards but will hold on to them for Yui's next post. Have some superb new promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game, as you can see the theme for November is Autumn. Last year at this time had many solo posts for Hina and Keya members for their 2021 'Uni's' pics, may do that for 2022 next month which would feature more than just promo game pics.
Yui has been a model for the With magazine since July 2018, in May of this year they ceased having print magazines. But they've had so many fabulous pics at their site since then but post them sporadically, one month there will be 15-20 pics and the next month zero. These are some brand new pics that came out this week, her first batch of modeling pics since October 10th.
Her next post will be just before Christmas so will have plenty of those pics coming up. Today, which is November 19th, Yui and two other Keya mates attended the Autumn/Winter 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held in Kitakyushu. Not as major as their other shows as just three members from Keya and Nogi were there, for some odd reason none from Hina were at the show. So will end off with two sets of pics, this batch were of the trio of Keya gals promoting their new AEON credit card.
Kitakyushu is in the southwest section of Japan on the island of Kyushu. For Yui's solo stroll at the show she took it on the Retro stage, she's always looked like a few trillion yen in my eyes but somehow over the the last few months she's attained a new level of perfection.... thanks to inflation?! After the pics is a video from that AEON segment, Keya's portion goes until the five minute mark.
