Hinatazaka46: A little(huge) bit of this and that for 2022 #27....

Never have done a regular second post for Akari and guess that needs to change as she does have some fans here. But it's been tougher to do posts for the members lately so been having most of their recent activities in these group posts. Have said on a few occasions how Hina is in a slowish stretch but there's enough new things for a terrific post and will have two more before the end of the year. Will also have at least two more solo posts and the first will be in two days as someone very obvious will be finishing fourth on this year's faves list.

This coming Sunday Hina will be holding their annual Christmas concert and will have plenty of holiday pics for this post. Keya too holds an X-Mas concert which is also an anniversary one of when they changed their name to Sakura but been too lazy(!) to check when it will be held. What's so good about the groups is that even when there's been no events, new mag spreads or other tidbits there's still enough things for a decent post, especially with Hina.

A second group photobook would be nice, their first and only one was a massive seller at 175,000 copies sold. There are some new mag spreads but they're all two page ones from the Friday magazine. In each issue the group has a two page spread, these are from the last three issues dated December 20th, 13 nd sixth.

No member has more blog pics than Konoka and this batch of them are brand new. Won't add them up but bet I've posted over 200 blog pics of her this year and they all look so fabulous!

Someone who has never had a solo post is Mirei who I do like but isn't among my bigger faves in the group. She turns 23 in five days and here's some older birthday pics.

Have a huge amount of new Christmas promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game and hope I can get to all of them by the end of the year. First off in this pairing is once again Mirei who is followed by Mikuni and she's really turning into such an attractive young woman.

One more pairing for these Uni's Christmas pics, first off is Hiyori and after her is Hina whose photobook released in March was the third best seller for Idols this year.

Speaking of photobooks not holding my breath for Suzuka to have one but that would be my Christmas wish! Have some new X-Mas pics for her from Hina's 'Mysterious Library' web game.

Ooops, almost forgot to include these cards for Hina's eighth single "Midnight". First up is the group's captain Kumi and on January 22nd she'll be celebrating her 27th birthday so you wonder how much longer will she be with Hina? The next post, which is for #5 on this year's faves list, also is a gal who turns a year older on that day. The Winter time is popular for '46' birthdays as Sarina will be turning 25 the day after Christmas, she has the second bath of cards.

Last up for today is a recap, hopefully a mini one, for episode #186 of the group's 'Aimashou" variety show that aired on November 20th. In the last group post had part one of this challenge and didn't want to wait too long to have the second part. Title of the show is 'Autumn G1 Hina Derby', it's the second time they've held this event. The overall winner is supposed to be the biggest lover of Hina but don't see why that would be!? There's four members who are betting on who win a challenge, they're Hinano, Miku, Konoka and Yuka who all have ChaCha coins that may be worth something to fans! The show's co-host Kasuga will set odds for each event such as you see at horse races. For instance if a member wagers two coins at 4:1 odds they would win eight coins. When the last episode ended Yuka had a large lead but in the end of this show something unexpected occurred. That last challenge wasn't completed and began off this show, it was called 'Volley Shot Juvenile Feelies' where a member had to kick or head a soccer ball into the net, they had thirty seconds to score as many goals as they could.

If you click on the first screenshot below you can follow the action as it's goes in the order of what took place. In this semi-soccer match Mei was the big favorite and scored a total of five goals. Tying her was the huge underdog Suzuka, the problem was no member placed their bet on her and they could have racked up a huge amount of coins if they did. Next challenge was the best of them which was called "Japan Cardboard Box Crusher Cup", there was a huge amount of boxes on the studio floor. The members had to break them and stuff the cardboard into their own huge boxes, for this match Shiho was the favorite. But there was one rule and it wrecked her chances of winning. After the ninety second match was up the member had to drag their box over to a scale to get it weighed.

If any cardboard fell off the pile or out of the box it wouldn't count. Sadly for Shiho most of her cardboard fell out and instead of perhaps finishing first she was last! Setting a new record in this challenge was Mei who stuffed 8.90 kg/19.6 punds into her box to win the battle, my money was on Mikuni who ended up second. Last up for challenges was the "Hype: The Waiting Room Memorial Cup", the show's co-host would be in a room where four members were supposed to come in and heap praise on him. However that was not what the game really was as they fooled him with the challenge though thought Kasuga was aware of the change. Four members had three minutes in a room with him and the object was to steal as many things from the room without him noticing. Seemed a bit staged and once again there was a tie for first with Mari and Akari each getting eleven points. As far as the bettors go if they lost all of their ChaCha coins they could borrow more. That's what happened to Hinano who ran out of money and borrowed five coins, she placed her bet on the longshot Akari who was going off at 9:1 odds. So in an unexpected twist Hinano went from last to first in this final match and was the grand winner! To keep the suspense up before the winning announcement was made Miku, Hinano, Yuka and Suzuka performed "Sonota Oozei Type" which is a tune off the new single.
