Hinatazaka46: Mei Higashimura's splendid "Mitsuketa” photobook scans

 

 Usually begin off a month with a fabulous photobook as I figure that way it'll garner a few more views. But am taking tomorrow off so this will be the lead post for two days so that should get this book some extra views though don't think this will be one of the more popular '46' books. I've liked Mei for a long time and this is her sixth solo post, hard to do them for Hina members. So while this photobook doesn't have nearly as many gravure photos as other Idol books its still a superb set of pics. I don't look at Mei as some sort of 'sexy Idol' but she is an attractive woman. Think this book fits her personality which is one of being such a fun person and also a bit quirky.

 This photobook was released on September 13th and always wait at least three months before posting any book from a '46' member. There was a pre-printing of a 100,000 copies, according to Oricon it sold close to 50,000 copies and was the tenth best selling book of the year. However they don't count all sales as that would mean 50,000 copies weren't sold! But ten days after this book came out Hina began their Autumn door and they sell books at the concerts so perhaps this sold another 25,000 or so copies which weren't counted as official sales. The photo shoots took place in Tokyo and Nara which is Mei's hometown. Mei will be hitting the age of 25 next August and so many first generation Hina members are that age or older, her height is 153 cm which I think is the shortest of any 1G member. On to the book which is another large one from the group as it contains 134 pages, as mentioned not a huge amount of gravure pics but think all fans should really enjoy these photos.
