Kyoko Saito: Her illustrious 37th post....

 

 Gulp, hard to type with the above staring you in the face.... but who's complaining?!!!! As I've said a few times in the past seems like that post count should be much higher but 37 is the correct figure, guess too many of her things prior to 2020 were in group posts. Made a mistake in Kyoko's last post saying it was her fifth for the 'Nao Year' that began on December 1st, it was actually her sixth which means for the fourth year in a row she's qualified for the yearly faves list. Do often moan about the lack of posts for her but this makes seven in the last seven months so I have no reason to moan though would love to see a post a week!

 That photo right above has always been one of my faves of Kyoko's and you've probably seen that pic more often in her posts than any other one. So as mentioned this is the fourth consecutive year she's qualified for the faves list and can she keep her streak up? That's of her position improving every year, in 2020 she was 17th though it should have been higher, the next year climbed all the to the sixth spot and last year was my #4 fave. But it's going to be tough moving up any more spots but would love to see it happen, being busy is very key to placing in the top five. Kyoko should have a busy couple months coming up as it was just announced that Hina's next single will be coming out at the end of July, she has an MTV show airing next week and will be the cover girl for a new magazine starting up next month. Plus in September those bigger fashion shows begin to be held again so guess there is an outside shot at moving up a position, her biggest competition for the third spot will be with another Hina member.

 Have quite a few new pics for today with so much variety, had no plans for doing a Kyoko post coming into today but when I have the urge to do one for a mega fave nothing will stop me! Did mention an MTV show and that will be airing on June 24th. It's for their Unplugged series and the show actually took place on May 21st and its her second time doing an MTV show by herself, think she also appeared on a show with another Hina member. So will have more news on it in her next post and hope there's a video of it as she does perform at least seven songs.

 Have mentioned a few times this year how the views for her posts have gone way down. Sure no new gravure photos is a major reason but any post for Kyoko is a darn good one and it really is worth checking out her older ones from this year. Speaking of older things let's go way back in time for this batch of cards that had never been posted before. They're from six years ago(!) and are Summer cards from when they were known as Hiragana46, her face hasn't changed all that much in six years.

 Did say there was a little bit of many things, here's something you've never seen in a Hina post which are some merchandise from their web site. Not trying to push the products but the pics are superb and they're for the "One Choice" single.

 The Hina members do such a better job at posting pics at their IG page or the group blog than the gals from Keya do save for 2-3 members. Their pics are much more interesting and I'm so worn out from the Keya members having to flash the V sign in their pics which has grown so tiresome. This batch is from Kyoko's IG page and all have been posted the past three or so weeks. They're all terrific and the bottom ones were from the set of the "Actress" drama.

 The drama had eight episodes and ended on June 2nd, it was a sequel to the 2021 series "Borderless". That drama I finally viewed and recapped in April/May, it was a series that is highly recommended. This new drama is a bit darker and does seem to be a bit more interesting but have only skimmed through a few shows. That's because I'm waiting for the entire series to be subbed before starting on in and will also recap that entire show. The fifth episode was just subbed yesterday so hopefully the entire series will be complete by next month.

 Kyoko's character of Kiri was the main figure in the "Borderless" series. She played a seventeen year old high school student though her age at the time was 23. Kiri was an aspiring novelist who with her new mate Nao became a junior detective trying to solve a murder case and would suggest reading through those recaps. The new drama is set five years later and you may have thought Kiri would become a detective in the show but instead she's a writer and director of stage plays, in an odd twist her old mate Nao has become a detective. Won't spoil anything but at the end of the second episode an actress was murdered, may seem hard to believe but the main suspect could be Kiri!!!!

 After the drama ended on June 2nd there was a vast amount of interviews that were done or finally published. Think it will be re-airing on another channel this Summer which was one reason for the interviews, another was to promote a DVD box set that will be coming out.  Have no clue why but we didn't see any promo pics in April or May with Kyoko for the 'Uni's on Air' web game. That's never happened before with any Hina or Keya member but there are some June pics for the game and the monthly theme is Hidden Gig.

 We've hit the finale of this post and there were about 65 new or older pics that had never been posted before. Could have made it even larger but let's save some things for at least one July post. June marks the fourth anniversary of Kyoko being a model for the ar magazine and I really like the way she looks in their pics. The top eight are from their site and are outtake/clean version pics from her photo shoots. After that the next four are from the May issue of ar while the other five are from their June edition. There was one other recent interview done for the "Actress" drama which is a video one with the Oricon site and have that after the pics. Wonder if there's any talk of a third season which many fans would love to see and we need more dramas for Hina and Keya.
