Minami Umezawa: Her tantalizing yet uneagerly awaited 41st post....

 

 When you can seldom do posts for a massive favorite they tend to be much larger than other posts and also more epic! For instance a post done three weeks back for an ex-Morning Musume member may be the top post of the year and this could give it a run for the money as far as being #1 of the year to date goes! This is Minami's 90th overall post but those counts are a bit overblown for Nogi members. That's because up until 2020 did so many group posts so if a member had twenty photos in a post would have their name as a label which meant those post counts rapidly rose. But least I can say that Minami's posts over the last five years have mostly been solo ones save for the posts for the 'Eizouken!' drama and movie. So when Minami hits a hundred posts the majority will be solo ones such as this post and these days am down to doing posts for only two current Nogi gals.

 In the period from 2020-23 Minami had thirty solo posts but only six since then, this is her first since January 8th and that was for her 26th birthday. So it appears once again Minami won't make it to six posts which is the requirement to be eligible for the yearly fave's list, she's made my top ten twice. Plus she's in my all time top ten as far as Nogi members go and would have had a place in the top five if the last few years had been busier for her. Minami is Nogi's current captain so I would expect her to remain with the group another two years, my prediction is her graduating in February 2027. Nogi now has a sixth generation being squeezed in and I don't even know the names of most fifth generation members(!), once they came aboard lost much interest in the group though still like my favorite members just as much. All the new members mean gals like Minami and her other 3G mates may not get as much work but she remains a busy member though not all of her activities make for interesting posts.

 Minami is only semi-popular here and wonder why as I like her immensely and have for at least five years. On an all time favorite members list think she would be about seventh which beats out many of the group's huge superstars and as I've said often to me Minami is Nogi's most sultry member. The last Minami post to garner over a thousand views was done in June 2022 which was three years ago and was for her first photobook, will there be a second? Another thing I have said often is that it's my #1 photobook of all time and if you missed it have the link below to the book. Sometime this year will do a list of my all time favorite Nogi books and bet I've posted sixty of them. Will have another book coming up in four days and perhaps two others which I will discuss in that next PB post:

 Do have a huge amount of recent Minami pics for today that had never been posted but considering it's been close to five months since her last post it may not be all that many. Will begin off with some Nogi cards that had come out in December and January, none have been released since then.

 I really enjoyed the 'Eizouken!' drama and Minami was the best of the trio of Nogi members, was that the last group drama to date? Had forgotten until now she appeared in the "Death Game de Matteru" series that aired at the end of last year. Let me see if the show was subbed and if so that would be an upcoming watch of mine. Mianmi doesn't post too many pics at her IG page but do have some ultra terrific new ones of her along with four other Nogi mates. Who on May 22nd attended the Japanese '2025 Music Awards' show and that's the largest musical awards show in Japan. Nogi didn't win any awards and had been nominated for Best Idol Group, remember the olden days when they would have at least four nominations?

 Unsure if I'll be posting the photobook for the member in the middle above, someone did request it and will admit the book is quite good and will discuss that in four days. Minami looks so fabulous above, Classy could be an apt description and will end off with some pics from the Classy site. But have many more pics before that and on May 2nd Minami was at another event which was the Spring/Summer 'Girls Awards' show and she always attends these large fashion shows. The event took place at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo and she took her stroll on the An Mille stage.

 Wonder if the main reason Minami isn't too popular here is because she's had zero gravure pics outside of her ultra perfect photobook? Bet that could be true but it's also a huge reason why she's been such a huge fave of mine for over five years, Minami doesn't need to dress skimpy to get my attention and I prefer her slightly classy style over most gravure models. Up until 2023 Minami used to appear in so many magazines but those have really dropped off over the last two years, can say that about most members from Nogi, Hina and Keya. To date this is Minami's last spread and she was the cover girl for the January 22nd issue of Young Magazine, not many Nogi members over the last five years have had as many covers.

 These days try to include an older magazine spread that may have been forgotten about, that's so common for ones many years old. Plus it's nice to have the spreads again for some of you viewers may have never seen them. This oldie set is from the September 2021 edition of Bubka, as I was saying above Minami doesn't need to dress skimpy to look overly alluring and isn't that the case with this spread?!

 Minami used to be a model for the With magazine but that gig ended two years ago. Know I've posted these pics before but I can never get tired of them and what a shame there aren't more photos of the duo together as they just may be my top pairing of all time!!!!

 Will end off with this large set of photos as these days Minami is a model for the Classy site and did mention above how classy is an apt description for her. It is true that usually gravure pics are often hard to beat but to me these modeling pics are so sweltering in their own way and no doubt it's because of the model!!!! She does have a newish video at the Nogi Streaming channel but instead after the pics is a short one from last week's Japanese '2025 Music Awards' show as it's so rare to see a group video from an event, at 171 cm she does tower over her mates....
