Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Yui Kobayashi... Miku Tanaka... Nagi Inoue....Maria Makino.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Much smaller post here than I usually do but it's so rare to hear anything from Erika these days. She did star in a TV movie over the weekend that aired on WOWOW called "Konomachi", have looked a bit for it with no success yet.
Unaware of any dramas that she'll be appearing in but Erika will be in the third "Death Note" movie coming out in October as she'll be reprising her role of Misa. Besides that nothing else new to report, hope there;s something else in the meantime as the film won;t be coming out for over six months.
Surprised there wasn't more promoting for this film, Erika and the cast had two screenings at the beginning of April but hardly anything since then such as more screenings, interviews or magazine appearances. Really don't know if this is expected to be a huge hit, lot of times period era films like this one aren't hugely popular but then again there's quite a few stars in the movie plus no other big film came out this weekend.
The movie premiered at the Marunouchi Piccadilly Theater in Tokyo, if I need to tell you how drop down stunning Erika looked then obviously this is the first post you've read here, every single pic of her could be described as drop down stunning! Erika's last film "April Fools" was #1 in it's first week put and stayed in the top ten for four weeks, big hit but it didn't have too much staying power, curious to see how this movie does at the box office. After these stupendous pics from the premiere there's a video of the event which is a solid watch but shame Erika wasn't the only one in the cast, much rather just view a video of her.
Also last week Erika had a new CM for Suntory, she's had too many for them to count. Have plenty of screenshots of it here plus the video is right below the pics.
Really wondering what's become of Erika, she hasn't been in any movies or dramas this year yet and it's almost half over plus there's zero news of anything she's going to appear in the upcoming months. Wonder if she's just bored with acting or if she's made so much money over the years she wants to take a year off, noticed many others are also curious what's going on with her.
Actually just one new CM for now here, her Reveur one isn't coming out for another day or so but here's some advance pics from it.... with the length of her hair think it was actually filmed last year because as you'll see in the next set of pics her hair is much shorter now.
And here's a few screenshots from Erika's new CM for Suntory, also think this may have been filmed some time ago, video is just below the pics.
