Han Hyo-Joo: 2017 happenings #4

 Don't know if it's just the actresses I follow but it seems the ones from Korea are so much more busier than their Japanese counterparts. That's probably a big reason for so many more posts for them recently along with having many more Korean drama reviews. What's happening then too is I'm starting to prefer them more than the Japanese actresses I've been posting about for years, maybe it's also just one of those stretches and in two months will have the opposite opinion.

 However Hyo-Joo isn't one of those busier actresses or at least for appearing in dramas and films. For 2017 she'll have appeared in zero of either, her film "Golden Slumbers" was scheduled to come out around this time but has been pushed back until next year. Hoping in 2018 we'll be seeing her in another drama, hard to believe with her massive popularity she's only been in one since 2010.
 That series was "W" which has been one of my faves from this decade. Never have reviewed her 2013 film "Cold Eyes" which I really enjoyed, will put that on the to-do list. Hyo-Joo though is quite busy as she appears at so many different events and is a model for many clothing companies. On October 12th Hyo-Joo strolled down the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 22nd 'Busan Film Festival' and it's a shame she didn't have a new movie to be premiered.

 Not a huge amount of Hyo-Joo happenings for today as there was just a post for her two weeks ago but all of the pics are new for here. These are from the Basic House 2017 Winter collection.

 Hyo-Joo does quite a bit of charity work, on September 26th she made an appearance at the 'Green Umbrella Angel Day' campaign event. It was held at the Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul, her dressed down look at these events always get a grade of A+ from me. At the event Hyo-Joo also donated a check of ten million won to the campaign, that's the bottom pic in these ones from the event. Following the pics is a longish video of her appearance.

  Hyo-Joo is such a popular actress so it's surprising how few dramas and films she's appeared in. The "W" drama from last year which was the best series of 2016 was her first one since 2010. She's supposed to be in a film coming out later this year titled "Golden Slumber" which is a remake of the 2010 Japanese movie but there's been no news of it for a while.
 Hyo-Joo is also a very in demand model so perhaps she's gotten a tad tiring of acting over the years. Perhaps not tired of the profession but Korean dramas are so much more difficult on the actors than Japanese shows which are usually ten shows at 45 minutes. Most Korean dramas are 16-20 episodes at 60+ minutes so it's probably a grueling 3-4 months of work just for one series.

 Not all that many new things for today though there are around 50 pics and all are new for here. Kind of found myself missing Hyo-Joo, don't post about too many Korean actresses though there are many that I do like and seems the ones I do post about are somewhat popular here. Not many new happenings as there were two posts for her 2017 activities in August. So first off will get a bit nostalgic and go back to 2011 for some fine pics for the the LovCat brand which is from France.

 Korean actresses don't appear in too many magazines though they do so much modeling for clothing companies and whatnot. Hyo-Joo represents so many brands and her pics for them are usually superb such as these new ones for the Zishen Autumn/Winter collection.

 Hyo-Joo also appears at many events for products or at film premieres, seems you can't have one unless she's invited! On September 14th she was at a store within a store opening for Samsonite X Lipault at the Lotte store in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

 Lipault is another brand which Hyo-Joo does quite a bit of modeling for. Pics here are brand new for their Fall/Winter collection and though there are some promo videos for it they're not yet on YT. So after the pics have a fine Hyo-Joo video for their 2016 Fall/Winter collection.
