Haruka Shimazaki: Few recent happenings....

 Always think that Haruka doesn't have enough posts here which is true but she did have 56 of them coming into today which is a decent amount of them. She's one of the rare AKB graduates who I've been able to post about on a somewhat regular basis and she's settled into her actress/celeb career quite nicely. At the top is a trailer for the "Ghost Theater" movie from 2015, Haruka had the lead in it but have never been able to find decent subs.
 Haruka now has her own official site so no blog or Twitter pics for her today. Am at her site right now but unfortunately you have to be a paying member to view any of her pics or messages. Haruka's acting career as mentioned is going well and though no lead roles except for the above film she does have a big part in the dramas she appears in. Her current one is "Repeat" which looks to be a promising series.

 Not a huge amount of Haruka things but plenty for her fans and she has kept her ultra kawaii looks. Gravure spreads are a thing of the past for her but Haruka never did that many of them when she was with AKB and it's nice to see a more conservative Idol as there's not enough of them. Few recent mag spreads though none are big enough, first off is from the November issue of Men's Non-no.

 Haruka has been a spokesperson for the Japanese lottery for almost a year now, have had 2-3 posts of her appearing at one of their events. Today she was at one for a special Valentine Lottery, you can purchase tickets up until February 23rd with the first prize being 300 million yen but personally think Haruka would make for a better grand prize!!!!
 As you can see by the pics the event was held outdoors as she looked a bit chilly. Especially eating the ice cream as the event was also for promoting a special Jumbo Parfait which you can consume at the Laprios store in Roppongi which is where the happening took place. Plenty of fine pics for all to enjoy as she kind of looks cuter dressed in a winter jacket and hat, after them you can view a video of the event which is part one of three.

Haruka Shimazaki: Few current happenings....

 Haruka seems to have a successful career going since her AKB graduation last December, much more successful than almost any other graduate. She's not getting starring roles but has had big ones in three dramas this year, she's currently starring in the asadora "Hiyokko" which ends it's run next month. Not a lot of things for this post or it at least seemed that way to me but there are over seventy pics, gone though are the days of Haruka doing gravure spreads but she still looks A-OK to me.
 One mag that Haruka has appeared in over the years is Myojo, every month she has a mini spread for them. Only problem is that the spreads are always just two pages and no clue why it's that few. Here are her two page sets from January to September but left out April as she had appeared with someone else.

 Besides Myojo Haruka doesn't appear in as many mags these days but she's popular enough where she may not have to. Haruka has an Instagram and Twitter accounts which she does update most days but never has enough new pics.

 Haruka is the special ambassador for two Summer events. One of them is for the Japanese lottery and their one time '100 Million Yen Jumbo Lottery'. Tickets were on sale from July 18th to August 10th and the drawing will be held next month. 100 million may sound like a lot and it actually is but it's a very small jackpot compared to some American ones, it equals $920,000.
 On July 18th which was the first day to buy tickets Haruka was at an event for the lottery and to also promote a new CM she appeared in for the jackpot. What would really sell a lot of tickets is if she was the grand prize, how many of us would empty out our bank accounts to buy tickets!?

 Haruka still looks mighty fine these days, she's always been a skinny gal but seems even more so lately. On August 15th she was at the first Tokyo show of the 'Blast' tour, the concert was held at the Orb theater in Shibuya. The ensemble is made up of three parts, two are for the brass and percussion instruments while there are also dancers performing.
 Haruka has been promoting the group since June, their first concert was on July 9th and they will be doing a show in all 47 prefectures with the finale happening on October 1st. Her instrument is the alto sax and it's the first time she's played live since 2009 when she joined AKB. She did a few songs from some Disney films during the ensemble's second set.
