Lee Yeon-Hee: 'Seoul Barrier Free Film Festival' pics

 Seems like centuries since the last post for a Korean actress, perhaps not centuries but it has been way too long. Haven't forgotten about any of my fave actresses but these last few months there's been so many things to post about Japanese actresses and Idols there hasn't been enough time in the day to keep up with them. Will make more of an effort as December seems to be a slower month for Japanese happenings while the opposite is true in Korea so expect more of these posts.
 Yeon-Hee as a few may know is my #1 actress from Korea, shame she's not eligible for one of my top ten lists as she just might find a spot on one of them. Most posts about Korean actresses and dramas aren't too popular here but the ones for Yeon-Hee are heavily viewed for some reason, actually looking at pics of her its easy to see why.
 One reason for the lack of Yeon-Hee posts is that for most of September and October she was in France filming her next drama "The Package". It'll be airing on JTBC which is a Korean cable channel, was just at their site but didn't find any info about the drama. The series won't be starting until January, she'll be turning 29 that month, so will keep her fans updated on any news on the drama and other happenings.
 On November 10th Yeon-Hee attended the opening ceremony for the 'Seoul Barrier Free Film Festival' which was held at KOFA in Cinema Tech. She wasn't there for any of her films as she's appeared in zero this year but at the ceremony was appointed as the Public Relations Ambassador for their 2017 festival. Sadly couldn't find a video of the event but do have plenty of superb pics.

 Mentioned I was going to do a few posts about some of my fave Korean actresses, hasn't worked out according to plan as there's just this one who is getting a fair amount of attention. One thing that hurts me is not knowing what Korean news sites to go to, know most of the Japanese sites but as far as Korea goes that number is very small plus I can't understand the language all that well.
 Yeon-hee hasn't been all that busy this last month so not knowing where to get info hasn't hurt me too much. But it did here as I was able to find these pics of a 'Amore Pacific Pink Ribbon' promo event that took place two days ago but zero about the event at any Korean news site. Think my search abilities are fine so it's kind of a mystery why there was no news about this event nor a video.

 Another thing I said that was going to happen which hasn't yet are some reviews of her "Ghost" drama from 2012. The plan was to do a recap of episodes 2-5 with plenty of screenshots, right now I'm on episode six. Think it may be better to review the whole drama at one time instead of two posts today then two more a month from now.
 Anyone who has seen the series knows how complicated the show is, seems like there's a new subplot every episode. Been keeping notes to help with the review and those notes have turned into several pages. So now and again will post a few Yeon-hee screenshots from the drama like these here from episodes 2-5, so far would highly recommend it.

Lee Yeon-hee: Even more recent happenings....

 Like AKF mentioned in her last post probably won't see a Yeon-hee drama for a while, unlike Japanese series which only have ten episodes at 45 minutes most Korean dramas last twenty episodes at an hour a show. Quite a few actresses from Japan are able to do 2-3 of them a year then, much more difficult for a Korean actress to do as many. Least now will have a chance to catch up on a few older things from her, hadn't realized who she was at them time but the "East of Eden" drama from 2008 is another series I've seen her in but had watched it because of two other actresses. Was also curious about her 2013 film "Marriage Blue", looks to be an okay movie but the cast is so big wonder if that means her role is a bit small.
 Not an endless supply of current happenings but hopefully can squeeze another post or two of them in this next week or so. Have already posted a few of Yeon-hee's Mettoi pics for their Spring/Summer collection, here's even more as there's quite a few of them.

 Noticed your more popular Korean actresses seem to appear at so many promo events, premieres and various things like that, some of them must appear at one a week if not more. Bet Yeon-hee has been at ten of them at least this year and have some jaw-dropping pics of her at a Valentino 'Hawaiian Couture' event back on March 16th in Seoul.

 My Japanese is somewhat passable as far as reading goes, have had much practice visiting so many news sites, etc. However my Korean is almost non existent, do have two 'how to read' Korean books but think I need so much more practice. Even a bundled up Yeon-hee looks so alluring at the VIP premiere on February 22nd for the "South By" film, think that's the correct title.
