 Maki was one of the main hosts for the 63rd Annual Kohaku Uta Gassen show which was held on New Years Eve, few shots of her looking mighty fine at the show.

 Maki yesterday at a promo event for Re-Nu contact lens cleaner, they also had a belated birthday celebration for her, after the pics from the event there's some shots from the Re-Nu site as Maki explains the correct way for cleaning your lenses.

 Maki's new CM for Prun Prun yogurt was just released today and she looks mighty fine in it, if you weren't a yogurt fan before you will be now! Here's the CM for it and also after is a video of the making of it.

Maki Horikita: Umechan Sensei September promo event

 Not exactly sure my translation is correct but here's Maki yesterday at the NHK Broadcasting Center promoting what appears to be a special movie of Umechan Sensei, the asadora ends this week and it looks like they'll be continuing the story with a special TV movie, sure there will be more info on it and when it comes out will be posting it here. But the main thing here is how Maki looks, WOW times a million as she just continues to look better and better everyday!

Maki Horikita: Umechan Sensei wrapup party

 Maki's asadora Umechan Sensei just wrapped up it's shooting last Friday though it's still airing until September 29th, doing well too in the ratings, last week think it had a rating of 20.6%. Not sure if I'm going to view it, they're good but just so long, haven't finished Nao's Gegege asadora and may never finish, you have to give up a lot of time to watch 156 episodes, but anyhow here's Maki at the little wrapup party they had Friday for the completion of the filming.
