Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Yui Kobayashi... Miku Tanaka... Nagi Inoue....Maria Makino.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Maki Horikita: May 2015 news

Just a few new things for Maki in this post but have done so few of them this year really just wanted to do one, really don't expect too many new happenings for her in the next few months. Did just pick up her 2013 "My Little Sweet Pea" film, haven't viewed it yet but will soon so expect a few posts on that coming up soon. Sadly just one new Maki mag spread and it's one that only has two pics, these are from the June issue of Mina.

On May 6th Maki's second stage play "Wuthering Heights" had it's opening show but the day before there was a press conference for it which is what these pics are from.

Also have some pics from the play's opening night and after them is a short video of the performance. The play takes place back in the 1800's, sure back then or really at any time in history Maki's sheer beauty like now would be unparalleled!

Maki Horikita: 2015 magazine scans #3

Forget what her first stage play was called but on May 6th Maki will be starring in her second one which is a real oldie called "Wuthering Heights". Haven't seen too much promoting for it yet but perhaps we'll see her at a press conference or more for the play this week, few pics from an interview for it with Digital Asahi.

Not all that many new mag spreads but at least they all look mighty fine, been a quiet first four months for Maki this year and this first one is from Weekly Sunday Shonen #21.

Maki Horikita: 2015 magazine scans #2

Forget the name of it but Maki has her second stage play opening next month, hasn't been any promoting for it yet but once more news of it comes out will be sure to post it here. Besides that know of nothing else in the works as there's zero new movies or dramas that she's scheduled to be in this year, hard to believe no films as Maki has appeared in so many over the years, quite often two a year.

Just three new mag spreads but two of them are quite big and in total there's close to 40 pics, first off is this set from the May issue of Oz Plus.

This is really a fine looking spread of Maki's and it's from the May issue of InRed.

Last set is another fabulous spread and it's from the May/June issue of CM Now, Maki used to appear in this mag every month but it's her first time in many issues.
