Just like Erika's episode which aired a few days ago Masami's episode also hasn't been subbed yet, have seen it and it looks to be a good show but not going to review it until subs are available. However figured some of her fans would want to see some screenshots of her from the show so here's some, Masami is still looking like a queen!

Masami Nagasawa Toshi Densetsu no Onna episode 9 review plus more
All good things I guess have to come to an end and for Tsukiko(Masami) and her comrades on the force there was no exception to that rule. Least it ended on a good note as Tsukiko's hunt for an urban legend went on plus carrying over from the previous episode was the 'curse' put on her by a fortune teller, the 'curse' being she would die within a week, luckily for all concerned it didn't happen but it sure came close.
The case this time involved an old mystery from the 1860's where it was rumored a huge amount of gold was stolen and hidden somewhere in Tokyo, a vast amount of it too which led many people to go on wild goose chases for it. The murder this time was someone in a trio who was looking for the gold, could one of the other two be the culprit behind the crime. As usual through Tsukiko's sleuthing and actually a fair amount by the others on the force they were able to find out who was the murderer but not before Tsukiko was captured and came oh so close to her death, you can see it in the screenshots in the next post. Saved in the nick of time she was and to top it off at the conclusion of the show she finally found her urban legend after all this time and a real ine it was, there really was gold hidden and in all places the police station! However the commissioner knew it and as a result the show ended with Tsukiko being transferred away so as not to give the secret away, for some strange reason she ended up in NYC as a member of the FBI, makes you wonder if they may have left the ending open like that for a special or season 2.
Shame it was only 9 episodes as this was one fine series which just got better with each episode, perhaps they didn't think it was going to be such a hit. A hit it was as even though it was a late night show it drew decent ratings with the last episode getting a rating of 11.6%. In conclusion, have already reviewed every episode up until now so not much more to add, but this is one that I highly recommend.... funny, quirky, interesting, good plots and a solid cast. Of course Masami carried the show, she does well in these off beat roles though she doesn't do all that many of them, perhaps in the future she'll get more like this as she aced her role as Tuskiko. But besides Masami the whole cast was solid, for the most part in secondary roles but they all were good and were really needed as straight men to Tuskiko's odd side. Final rating would be a 9+/10, really one enjoyable series that I wish was longer. Check out the next post for screenshots from the show plus there's posts for evey episode if you want to check it out and here's all the info on the show and cast.

Masami Nagasawa Toshi Densetsu no Onna episode 8 screenshots
What an urban legend for the latest episode, it appears that... the Wolfman is running havoc over Tokyo and murdering fortune tellers! Well, that's what Tsukiko(Masami) is led to believe and she has much evidence to back it up as on every full moon a 'wolfman' has been murdering fortune tellers and by the accounts of witnesses it was a 'wolfman' who could streak like the wind, had a stance of one and was able to leap incredible heights. After a failed murder attempt Tsukiko took the place of the next fortune teller who was going to be killed and she was targeted but the attempt was foiled by her partners but the 'wolfman' was not caught until the full moon disappeared. Yes, once again Tsukiko came so, so close to proving urban legends exist and even has a few on the force starting to believe some things she's saying but at the end it was of course a human who did the killings but also once again Tsukiko and her allies were able to solve the case. Also a twist at the end which may come into play for the next show as a fortune teller being led away on arrest told Tsukiko she has only one week to live which her and the other members of the department believe, that could set up an interesting next episode.
This was one of the strongest episodes to date, interesting and funny and as usual fast paced, there's rarely any down time in this drama. And of course Masami looked like a queen in it though this episode featured her in short skirts the least amount of time so far, that's okay though just seeing her on the screen is enough for any of us fans and as usual to end off many screenshots of her from the latest episode.

Masami Nagasawa Toshi Densetsu no Onna episode 7 screenshots
After a so-so 6th episode this latest one was a nice comeback for Masami and her crew, perhaps not the most interesting one but certainly the funniest one to date. No murder this time for Tsukiko(Masami) to solve but it did have a urban legend for her written all over it, as a matter of fact this was a real urban legend and one that was backed up by one her partners. Simply the case was a woman was attacked and the department had to find the attacker but Tsukiko knew it was because the household spirit Zashiki-Warashi wasn't there to protect the woman who was assaulted. The spirit was a six year old girl who only her and for some reason her non-neliever partner Shibayama could see, originally the spirit came to Tsukiko's residence to warn her of the danger that happened to the woman and thanks to the spirit who they called out at a seance towards the end of the show they were able to solve the crime, it wasn't someone who broke in and attacked the woman but you're going to have to watch to find out who it really was.
Not sure if there's 3 or 4 more episodes but these first 7 have flown right by, this is one enjoyable drama. Much attention has been brought about by those legs of Masami and they certainly are A+ but even if she wore long pants all the time it would still be one fine drama, funny, interesting and a nice pace to it so far makes it a must watch, let's hope it stays that way for the final episodes. Preview for the next episode showed the case will deal with a serial killer, may be one that lasts more than just one episode, looks promising and as always to end off a bunch of good looking shots of Masami from the latest show.
