Mirei Kiritani: Belated happy 27th birthday, 'Voce Beauty Awards' show pics and much more....

.... or perhaps I'll be picking her remains off the floor!!!! Don't know what came over me, miss things here and there but to overlook Mirei's 27th b-day should be a life sentence for me(with her).😅 Didn't dawn on me until this morning that her b-day took place on December 16th, to make up for it have one of the better Mirei posts I've done in a long time... an old and new b-day pic.

 Too often I've posted 'greatest hits' kind of pics for b-day posts and even for the current top twenty list. Trying to get sway from doing that though the pics that are posted are usually jaw-dropping. Here's some pics that aren't new but they are for here and actually every pic in this post is new.

 Mirei finished in the seventeenth position in the top twenty list, next post for the series will feature who is fifth. To me she's still a top ten woman but this year was just way too quiet for her, two dramas and not much else. Had all these pics come out a month ago Mirei would have been at least five spots higher, maybe she read that post as is determined to get back into my good graces.  These are some of the best Mirei pics I've seen in years which are from Mei Ling jewelry, wish there were more than the four of them and that third pic really gets my heart pumping.

 On December 19th Mirei was at the '2016 Voce Beauty Awards' show and for the second year in a row an excellent female won the 'Most Beautiful Face' award. Last year Yuko won the award, wonder if you win you're no longer eligible? Plenty of superb Mirei pics from the event and looking at her it's easy to see why she was this year's winner as her face is without question one of the best. As you can see she still doesn't grab seconds at the dinner table but that's been the case for years, perhaps she's one who just doesn't gain weight. After the pics check out a video of the show.

Nao Kanzaki: 'Top Twenty Faves list for 2016' #17....?

 Hope I don't sound too down or disappointed in this post but that's how I feel with this selection. 😭Last year Mirei finished in the #5 spot and figured for a long time she'd be right around that position this year. Don't know how other fans feel but to me this has been Mirei's most disappointing year in a long time, perhaps the most one in her entire career.
 There were two dramas this year that she had the leading role in, one was passable while I aborted the second one after one episode because you knew right then how bad it would be. Usually Mirei must appear at 15-20 promo events a year along with being at five or so fashion shows a year. This year between them there's been a total of four appearances, wonder if it had something to do with her recent dental work?

 That inactivity is without a doubt the main reason for my disappointment, it may not sound it but I've been a huge Mirei fan for seven years now. First time I saw her in anything was the "Otomen" drama and my jaw honestly dropped, wow was she like(still is) a breath of fresh air. As fabulous as she looked back then her looks just kept going up and up, sadly her weight hasn't kept pace.
 Mirei will be turning 27 in two weeks, when an actress is in their 20's is the time to stay busy. Just have noticed the older an actress gets the less opportunities they get for things such as mag spreads or photobooks. No clue to why Mirei has decided to remain so quiet this year, one reason could be a bit of burnout as she has been one of the busiest if not busiest actress since 2010.
 Let's hope Mirei is reading this post and thinks to herself 'I'll show Nao, next year I'll make him eat his words and end back up in his top five!'. That's something I would love to see but though there's been a few downer thoughts most have been more positive than I expected they would be, after all only 16 females in the entire country of Japan topped her.
 Few new things for today, actually quite a bit but have had to hold on to them for over a month so really not that many considering how long it took me to accumulate them. Two small spreads of three pics each from the November and December issues of Baila.

 Mirei turns 27 on December 16th so will do another post then for her b-day, perhaps she was only 17th this year but on my all time list she'd be at least seven spots higher. Her last post had some of her 2017 calendar pics, will have them again for her b-day post with hopefully a few other new things. There is a new CM for Homemate which you can view after all of these pics, first half aren't new but they are for here and with them are some stupendous golden oldies.
