Ren Ishikawa: Her 2020 magazine spreads(most) and a pair of golden oldies....

 

 Didn't think things would be going so smoothly with this new version of Blogger but save for a hiccup here and there everything has been smoother than ever(knock on wood!). However there were a few changes I had in mind which have already started, neither are major ones except if you're an Idol fan. I am too but have grown tired of them as way too many of my faves have graduated, said I would begin weening off doing so many posts and have been quite successful. This is post #14 for November and not one to date has been for an Idol though would think a few would be coming up. The other minor change was to make posts smaller which I've said would happen a few other times but seldom has. Will this time around as the post below this has 47 pics which will be abut the size of this one. No viewers have let me know but would imagine you'd rather see two posts of 45 pics than one of 90+ and there could be so many more posts that way.

 For a long time was kind of lukewarm towards Ren, did like her but her thinness may have been the reason though I do prefer svelte gals. But this past year that opinion has really changed and have to admit Ren is one sultry woman and she does have a pair of impressive assets, three if you include her attractive face. It surprises me that this is only the second ever magazine post she's ever had, previous post was for 2016 spreads.

 For today the only thing will be mag spreads, mostly from this year but as the title says have a pair of older ones. Will work on having a post or two for her 2013-15 spreads as she had so many back then. Ren is like too many of my fave gravure models as she retired from doing those kinds of pics in the Spring of 2017 shortly before she hit the age of 24 which naturally means she's 27 now. Seems so many have 'retired' between the ages of 23 to 25 and wonder why? Very few have moved on to a successful acting career and from what I've heard popular gravure models like her make a pretty penny.

 In those two(?) posts for her older mag spreads will include some event pics, modeling ones and whatever, Ren has such a massive fan base here and wish I could do so many more posts for her. These 2020 spread pics are all terrific but it may be a letdown for those hoping for scantly clad pics as there's sadly really none these days. But that's no reason to overlook such a fan fave and bet there will be some who will like these sets immensely. Ren has been an exclusive CanCam model since July 2017 when she turned 24 and also right after she quit the gravure business. Have three spreads from the mag today, first four pics are from their January edition while the rest are from May.

 These are from CanCam's September issue and she doesn't appear in enough of them.

 Have seen Ren in two dramas and it's kind of hard to judge her yet as the roles weren't large enough. Large enough is an apt description for most of her spreads as very few these days are more than just a few pages. This past year a trio of my older fave gravure models have returned to that field, wonder if that would revive her career? Three pics each here from the June and October issues of Biteki.

 Last new spread is as you guessed a way too small one which is from the December edition of Ginger but least we can say she does look so attractive in each set.

 Will end off with a pair of older sets which have never been posted here before. Both are from 2017 and may have been her final gravure spreads. few pictorials have come out since then but they comprise outtake pics from her 2013-16 photo shoots. Not a huge spread but one more of you will enjoy which is from the January 17th issue of SPA!.

 Ren was one of the most popular gravure models for this decade and at the 2017 Gravure Models Award' show we was named the top one of 2016, she also won an award for appearing on the most covers. She has that honor here that's from the January 1, 2017 edition of Young Champion, it's her largest and best spread of the day. After the pics have a short Cancam video from 2019 which is fairly good but it made me think I can also post Ren's spreads from 2018/19.

Ren Ishikawa: Magazine scans #1.... 2016

 It's taken a while but have finally got around to posting Ren's many mag spreads, just a week or so late. There's going to be no order to my madness as in the title it says '2016' which is the year for all of today's spreads. From 2013 to mid 2017 Ren appeared in so many mags but since then has really slowed down on her spreads.
 Don't think she's appeared in one mag this year or at least a spread that was somewhat big. For 2018 the spreads were few in number too so will probably combine those years together and that'll be the final post in the series. Unsure of how far to go back with these spreads, thinking 2015 when Ren was 22 in age and would think for that year and 2016 may be able to do five posts. One dimensional post for today as the only thing is mag spreads as it was a bit of a spur of the moment post. But starting with her next one will have pics from events, sites, her blog and whatever.

 Do like how Ren isn't a 'traditional gravure model' as she is quite thin and not nearly as bodacious as most models are. But I do find that a bit refreshing and to me she looks fabulous, many viewers do too as her first five posts have been extremely popular though none have hit the top ten yet for most viewed. Actually there's one other small thing besides spreads and that's of her drama that aired earlier this year, "Oshii Keiji". It's only a four episode series and it's finally been subbed. Have watched the first two shows which were okay but undecided if I'll be doing any recaps for it. Ren's role was a bit too small in the first episode but much larger in the second one.

 As mentioned all of today's sets are from 2016 and should be able to have at least one more post for the year. Ren usually does do gravure spreads but that's not the case 100% of the time as she was the cover girl for back to back Weekly Ascii issues for July 26th and August 2nd.

 Another issue where Ren was the cover girl and this set is from the October 21st Friday.

 That above was the smallest spread for this post while this next one is the largest. Once again Ren is the cover girl and this superb set is form the April 2016 edition of Circus Max.

 This will be the last batch of pics but there were five spreads in all. If you're wondering if Ren once again graced a cover then by now the answer should be obvious as it's a resounding YES! What a popular model she was back a few years ago to be the cover girl of so many mags and this final set is from the December 26th issue of WPB. There's so many videos on YT that it's too hard to pick one as most are quite terrific. But decided on a short, no-gravure video from the CanCam magazine as in 2017 Ren became an exclusive model for them and the video was for their February issue.
