Rena Matsui: "Tomorrowland" DVD release event pics and video

 Doesn't happen all the time but have noticed when an Idol leaves a group you really don't hear all that much from them, especially when it comes to mag spreads. It's not that they're not doing anything but usually it's not some popular thing which is easy to follow, such as having a lead role in a drama or film.
 It's only been a little over five weeks since Rena has graduated from SKE but she seems to be the kind of person who will stay in the spotlight, does help that she's quite attractive but more than that it helps that she's such a smart and interesting person. She has done a few things since leaving the group such as appearing on the Pon! show a few times and has also done a few other shows in the same vein.
 If I recall correctly Rena was at the premiere of the "Tomorrowland" anime film when it was released in Japan, she's always been a big fan of anime. The DVD of the film is coming out on October 7th and on the 6th Rena was at a promo event for it's release. She did mention at the event she's really striving to be an actress though didn't give many details about that. Thought Rena's 2014 movie "Gift" was a solid watch but since then she hasn't done any acting, think she needs to do some regular dramas or more movies to get the experience. Rena Matsui- A few current happenings....

 Sure most of you know that Rena will be 'graduating' from SKE, looks like her final concert with them will take place on August 31st at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi which is her hometown. Also she will be the center for SKE's 18th single "Mae no Meri" which will be released on August 12th. Rena announced her 'graduation' about a month ago, seems she wants to concentrate more on TV and her acting career, personally I think she's been tired of the Idol scene for a while now as she's been one for close to seven years and guess it's about time she moves on, really hope it means we won't stop hearing about her.
 Not a huge amount of current things as it seems she's already started to slow down on her Idol activities, have two recent mag spreads with the first one being from the June 17th issue of Weekly Shonen.

 Other Rena spread is a brand new one and it's from a special Flash Summer issue entitled "2015 Summer Best".

 Lastly Rena appeared on the special "Music Day" show on July 4th, her and Rina performed "Heavy Rotation", thought she was supposed to be leaving the group in June but is still around.
