Sayumi Michishige: A little bit of this and that....

 Will be working on the posts for my number one fave of all time after this, if you don't hear from me for a day you'll know the reason. After going eons without a post for new Sayumi happenings have two for today, following this are the scans from her latest photobook "Dream". Sayumi is also making a return to the world of music, above is a short clip for her debut single "Loneliness Tokyo" which is being released tomorrow. To be honest it's just a so-so song at best, it's so over produced it could be anyone singing the tune. EDIT: Yet again another video was removed from YT so had to delete the above tune.

 Wonder if Sayumi's fan base is still huge to make the song a hit? She took such a long break when she graduated from Morning Musume at the end of 2014, Sayumi has become more active this year but have a feeling so many have forgotten about her. As you can see above she'll be performing at the Cotton Club next week and also has a few concerts for December planned, Sayumi was also in a pair of plays earlier this year and one of them is coming out on DVD in November. Sayumi's 12th PB came out on July 13th which was also her 29th(!) birthday, where has the time gone? Pics here are from an interview she did for the book back in July with Digital Asahi.

 There was also a pair of mag spreads for the book, still need to do a few posts on Sayumi's older spreads as I've only had one or two posts for them. First off is from the July 24th issue of Flash.

 Sayumi's "Dreams" PB was released on July 13th, the following day an event was held for it at the Book Fast store in Shinjuku. No clue what the sales for the book were, not many Hello Project member's books make the top ten as quite a few are sold at concerts and events which Oricon doesn't count but Sayumi didn't have any Summer shows to sell the book at. Plenty of fine looking pics here from the event which was also for her 29th birthday, following the pics is a video of the event.

Sayumi Michishige: A real blast from the past with many new happenings....

 'A blast from the past' is certainly an apt description for Sayumi as she's finally starting to become a bit more active. Have done quite a few posts for her but never for new activities and hoping this may be the first of two or three for her. Have posted most of her photobooks and H!P Digital Book collections but can't recall ever doing a post like this one before for Sayumi. Don't know why either as she was such a busy member of Morning Musume until her November 2014 graduation. Video at the top is highly recommended which is for the photo shoot for Sayumi's "Your Love" PB. EDIT: Forget that video as it's bene deleted on YT, how many millions of other videos have bit the dust????

 Sayumi barely missed making my 'Top Twenty of all Time' list. Odds are close to 100% she would have if it wasn't for her extended hiatus as she could my #1 Morning Musume of all time though do like other Hello Project members more. After Sayumi's graduation she took 22 months off(!) which was from November 2014 to September 2016. She's slowly getting back into the swing of things but the past few months she's been as busy as ever and is still affiliated with Hello Project.
 Hopefully there can be a few posts for newer activities but if not still have plenty of older things to get to. Have only done one or two mag spread posts so there's definitely many out there to get to. Did one post for Sayumi's 2014 H!P cards and said I would do a few more posts like that which never happened. Will have some cards in the mag spread posts and these are a few from 2013.

 In 2017 and 2018 Sayumi released two mini albums titled "SayumingLandoll: Saisei" and "SayumingLandoll: Shukumei". Both weren't available in stores as you could only purchase it at the Cotton Club or through the H!P site which meant neither were big sellers. She's performing two upcoming solo concerts and think it'd be wise if she released a regular single and/or album.

 Sayumi is fairly active on her Ameba blog along with her Instagram site. These are recent pics from them, sure you know who the gal with her is and the pair were celebrating the 15 year mark of when both joined MM.

 On July 13th Sayumi released her twelfth photobook and all eleven before are simply superb. Title of the PB is "Dream" which many do about her and these are from a Asahi interview for the book.

 One tremendous spread promoting the PB which is from the July 24th issue of Flash.

 The July 13th release date of the PB was also Sayumi's 29th birthday(!), she still looks at least five years younger and also still steaming hot. On July 14th there was a fan greeting event for the book at Book Fast in Shinjuku, pics are from the event and following them is a video of it. Noticed it didn't make Oricon's top ten for sales which may be the result of taking such a long break but H!P gals sell so many books and singles at their events/concerts which aren't included in Oricon's sales.
