Erika Toda: Shoten in Michiru no Mi no ue Banashi episode 9 screenshots
Have the last two episodes of Erika's Michiru drama here, though the best so far this year still thought it could have ended on a better note, not that it ended badly but a few loose ends could have been tied up plus a few more lingering questions could have been answered. Episode 9 really just focused on Michiru still being in such a confused state of mind, after her good friend Takei has eliminated 3 of the people that stood in Michiru's way she really panicked and just left Tokyo with no destination in mind. She met an older couple in Kyoto who treated her as their won daughter who they had lost in an accident a few years prior, being with them made Michiru think that perhaps she should return home to Nagasaki and give her family one more try but when she got there she just couldn't go through with seeing them and left almost as soon as she got there. Shortly after she took another bus ride and got off in really the middle of nowhere, a bus driver seeing her blight befriended her, unknown to her at the time but known to us is that he was to be Michiru's future husband and there the episode ends.
Compared to all the other shows there really was not that much that happened this episode, no real new developments nor was anyone killed this show, really was just about Michiru trying to find out what to do in life as she needed to distance herself from her sweet friend turned killer Takei, by the show's end she was just as confused as she was in the beginning, will this set the stage for a very dramatic ending? Check the next post to see how everything gets settled and of course we end off with many screenshots of Erika from the latest episode.

And here we are to look at the finale of Erika's latest drama, been a really could show up until now but could it hold it's edginess for the last episode? Previous episode ended up with Michiru running away from Tokyo and really everyone she knew and ended up being stuck in the middle of nowhere to be befriended by an older man who was a bus driver and took her in for the night once he saw what kind of mess she was in. The bus driver's name was Kouzuki who was to be her future husband and who had been the main storyteller throughout the drama, the two of them hit it off quite well and Michiru ended up staying and helping out in his mother's small cafe plus also living in their house. They got along so well that Michiru ended up breaking down and trusting him enough where she told him everything, from how she got the 200 million yen lottery ticket to all the killings that Takei had done to 'protect' her, though quite taken back at first Kouzuki grew even more attached to her and before you knew it they had gotten married and were expecting a child. But the way Michiru's life has gone things couldn't end that smoothly and they didn't as Takei has suddenly come back into her life, he didn't threaten her but did threaten Kouzuki as Takei had somehow discovered that he had killed his previous wife and buried her behind the bus station. Kouzuki had gone along at first with the threat which was for him to kill himself within 3 days but he didn't go through with it and instead went to turn himself in confessing to the murder of his wife but also giving the police all the details about the murders that Takei had committed. Story sort of ends there as Kouzuki is sent away but none of the details were given, in a voice over he explained that the pregnant Michiru had waited for him and eventually they did get back together again but when or where or a few other things about them never were explained so the drama ends off with Michiru reading Kouzuki's farewell letter to her and asking him to wait for him which is what happened.
And so it ended on that note, just seemed it could have been a bit better, for instance what happened to Takei then, did the police nab him or did he just disappear? And what about Michiru's family and coworkers, they had so many suspicions about her like about the lottery ticket plus what happened to her fiancee. With episodes that are only 28 minutes long they do have to zip through things too quickly, would have been much better if this finale was just a bit longer, many things could have been answered and think the ending may have been a bit more satisfying. Still ended up being a must watch, best drama for the first quarter and seeing what kind of shows are coming up for the next quarter means this will probably end up being number one for the first half of the year, but of course one must watch this because of Erika who once again gave such an amazing performance, looked so much different than her other shows but truly just as good so no doubt if you're a fan of hers this is a must see and if you're not then maybe this drama will hopefully turn you into a fan, will give this a final rating of a 9.4/10, very highly recommended.

Erika Toda: Shoten in Michiru no Mi no ue Banashi episode 8 screenshots
Just two more episodes to go and that's a good thing in a way as the way the characters are dropping like flies there won't be anyone left in this drama! In episode 7 Takei and Takakura took care of the man Michiru's(Erika) was having an affair with and shortly after that Takakura committed suicide by jumping in front of a train, Michiru though has some doubts whether she actually did kill herself, the way Takei has been acting wouldn't surprise her nor us if he in some way was connected with her death. What really was happening during this episode was Michiru starting to lose her mind a bit, she feels so guilty about all the recent deaths that she's having some really frightening nightmares and is having troubles just doing anything like she used to do such as working or even thinking clearly. In a panic mode she suddenly just decides to leave Takei's apartment and just flee anywhere but just happens to bump into him as she's leaving and is forced to go back with him. They were having a conversation with Takei really starting to talk so strangely, his character has really turned into a bit of an evil person and once again Michiru panicked, with his back turned to her she picked up a frying pan and smashed it across his head, but is he dead, we're unsure of that as the episode comes to a conclusion leaving is with so many more questions to be answered.
As I mentioned just two episodes to go and there's still a lot of things that need to be cleared up, is Takei dead and if so how is Michiru going to get out out of not being pinned for his murder? Also there is a lot of pressure from some of the people in her hometown, 2 of her ex-cowokers really think she stole the winning lottery ticket from them and seems as though one of them is heading to Tokyo to find her. Plus no one knows yet about her fiancee being dead too, the people back home think Michiru and him are living together in Tokyo.... these and many issues will need to be solved and answered for episodes 9 & 10, really promises to be a really climatic ending and to end off as usual a bunch of Erika screenshots from this latest episode.
