Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruka Shimazaki: 2016 Magazine scans #6 and more....

Hmmmm, that question is very, veryyyy tempting!!!!

Wasn't planning on making this a '48' day but it somehow turned out that way. As expected AKB''s new single "High Tension" sold over a million on it's first day which was November 16th. Oricon listed a total of 1.12 million copies sold, one of their lower figures but it still topped Nogi's current single by 300,000 copies.
Haruka is the center for the single and as you may know it'll be her last single with the group as she'll be graduating on December 26th which is only 39 days away. One of my all time fave AKB tunes is "Eien Pressure" which was the first time Haruka had the center position. Highly recommend that tune if you've never heard it and it's also, to me, their all time best PV. and perhaps their longest. Here's a few of the CD covers for the latest single.

Haruka also did an interview for the single with VIP Press/Lineblog, pics are from that interview and here's their address: lineblog.me/official/archive/1062361377.html

Just two new mag spreads but both are somewhat big like this first one which is from the December issue of BLT Graph.

After graduation Haruka will stay in the entertainment industry but just as an actress, so far everything I've seen her in she's done a solid performance. But not being an Idol will probably mean many fewer mag spreads so hopefully there's many lined up before the end of the year, other set for today is from volume 26 of Television Colors.
