Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Yuria Kizaki: Magazine scans #2

Those first four posts for Yuria that were done a few days ago have been very popular, especially that intro one with mag spreads. Was going to post more from 2016 today but there's only a few of them and thought I'd wait to see if any more came out in the next few weeks. If you read that intro post you may recall that Yuria is celebrating her seventh anniversary this month of being a member of SKE.
Their sales have really dropped this year even though there's only been two released. SKE's latest single "Kin no Ai, Gin no Ai" did hit #1 in it's first week out which was on August 17th. To date it's sold 320,000 copies which is an impressive number but from 2012-15 they had eight singles that topped the 500,000 copies sold mark with one selling over 700 K. That's kind of a big drop and not really sure why as the singles have been quite good, don't think Rena's graduation had too much to do with the falling numbers as it was happening before she left.

But the members have been way too quiet this year with as we don't see as many of them appearing in mag spreads, promo events plus none have released a photobook this year. Sure that happens to many J-Pop groups, you hit a certain plateau and after that it's a downhill slide for a while. Enough of the inane thoughts as sure all of you want to view more fabulous pics, all of these will be from 2015 and the first set is from the August 27th issue of Young Jump.

Small set from the August issue of Entame though Yuria certainly looks tremendous.

Not too many from 2015 either so will have this be the last one for today, also have many other psots to do. This is from the June issue of Bomb as Yuria is joined by a pair of familiar faces.
