Will have a promo video for each of the episodes, all of them are at the KBS YT site. That first recap took a while and am doing both back to back so let's get to it before my brain disintegrates. Will bring up a few events from the first episode but recommend reading that one first.

It's the first day for Hae-Joo at the Jeonghyeon Girls High School. She's just moved from Seoul along with her father who is a professor at the prestigious Seoul University, the setting takes place in the town of Daegu which is 150 miles from Seoul. Hae-Joo was #1 in her class at her old high school and the teacher Oh really flatters her during her introduction. But when Hae-Joo spoke a few words to the class she said she wanted to have fun and was looking for passionate love(!), think she didn't want to appear to be better than her fellow classmates.
After class Hae-Joo reintroduced herself to Jung-Hee who has taken an instant disliking to her, when Hae-Joo offered to be her friend Jung-Hee never gave an answer and quickly departed. It was the end of the school day and outside the school's gates was a mass of boys from the local Gyeryoon Boys High School. Word spread quickly that a drop dead beauty was new in town and that naturally was Hae-Joo. All the boys were there to see her and to possibly ask her out in a date.
Somehow Hae-Joo managed to elude the mob, all of the boys save one seemed to have been waiting for Hae-Joo. That one missing boy was Son-Jin who played it smart and was waiting for Hae-Joo on her path home. He accidentally bumped into her and she did remember him from the previous day. Son-Jin had an immediate crush on Hae-Joo but like all of the other crushes it's one sided for now as she said a few words to Son-Jin and quickly headed back home.

In the middle screenshot above is Dong-Moon who plays a major role in the drama. He's another person that has a crush on someone and that's Jung-Hee, she wants nothing to do with him but he always seems to be there when she needs him. Jung-Hee is on the broadcasting club at school, she usually did the lunchtime show but the manager wanted others to take turns. To Jung-Hee's dismay she heard the voice of Hae-Joo over the speakers who was a big hit with her broadcast, there are a lot of cheesy 70's tunes such as that one from the Carpenters.
It's time for the class military drill and unknown to Jung-Hee her class enemy Ae-Sook has stolen her uniform top. At the exercises the drill instructor was furious that two students were not in the proper attire, Hae-Joo did have an excuse as she was new at school. However she was a bit sassy to the drill instructor who made her and Jung-Hee run ten laps around the large field.
Hae-Joo is a drop dead beauty but not much of an athlete as she was having a severe problem finishing the laps. To her aid came Jung-Hee who coached her along and even let her hold on to her uniform to help Hae-Joo keep pace. Even with that nice act Jung-Hee still doesn't want to be friends and though Hae-Joo looks happy on the outside she's crushed and hurt by Jung-Hee's actions.

The previous episode there was a scene at a local church for their culture fest. At it Jung-Hee had found her arch enemy Ae-Sook smoking in the girls room and the information about it had gotten back to their teacher Oh. Ae-Sook denied smoking but was tricked by him into admitting she was a smoker, the only who knew about her smoking was Jung-Hee and now it's time for revenge which is coming up.
That bottom screenshot is of Hae-Joo with Young-Joon's arms wrapped around her. He had been at her house repairing the roof when some boards fell from it, Young-Joon jumped from his ladder and was able to save Hae-Joo in the nick of time. Crush #3 so far is of Hae-Joo having one which once again isn't returned, that crush is with Young-Joon who appears to be about five years older.
All week Jung-Hee couldn't concentrate on anything except for Son-Jin, the wait until Sunday seemed like an eternity as that's when she could see him at a popular library where so many students studied. It's a long ride there for Jung-Hee who has to leave before the sun rises, unlike the previous Sunday she made it there in time to get a pass to study in the co-ed room. But nowhere in the room was Son-Jin, her heart was broken with the absence of her 'reason for living'.

Jung-Hee left the study room for a break and to her surprise ran into Son-Jin who said he was late and had to study in the boy's section. To me that was a lie and think he was devising a way to meet up with Hae-Joo. Son-Jin said he was leaving, once again Jung-Hee was determined to follow him but unlike the first episode was unable to see him riding away on his bike. So it was a lonely walk home for Jung-Hee but not for long as to her dismay Hae-Joo suddenly appeared also on the same path.
Hae-Joo desperately wants to become friends with Jung-Hee and tries many ways to get to know her better. On the path home Hae-Joo began singing a song, one that Jung-Hee must have liked quite a bit as she also joined in and the pair had such a hilarious time singing it together. That still wasn't able to completely break the ice but as you can see above Jung-Hee is starting to have some guilty thoughts about herself, she shouldn't be as jealous of Hae-Joo as she was.
But by the next day the two have become friends and it was instigated by Jung-Hee, don't think the pair though will become the best of friends. Their high school will be having a joint radio broadcast with the boys high school, the president of the boy's broadcasting club happens to be Son-Jin of all people, he's also the class president and seemingly Mr. Perfect. For the broadcast there will be two hosts, Son-Jin will be one and there's little doubt who wants to be his partner.

There was a meeting between the two clubs, Jung-Hee's friends deviously kept Hae-Joo from attending by pretending they needed help with their math. It worked for a while but when Hae-Joo realized the meeting was going on she manged to slip out and was able to arrive when the talk was about who should be the co-host. To everyone's surprise Hae-Joo nominated Jung-Hee, think that now that the two were friends she didn't want anything to break that bond.
Everyone else at the meeting agreed and Jung-Hee was now in seventh heaven with the thought of being that much closer to Son-Jin. He had also left a note in Jung-Hee's bag saying he wanted to meet her but she read it too late and the pair could only meet for a minute, that's the bottom screenshot above. At the time it was pouring out and Son-Jin gave her his umbrella, it's now Jung-Hee's most prized possession as she even slept with it.
We see Young-Joon often though his scenes aren't too long, there's a rumor that he has connections to the mob and that possibly Eng-Cho isn't his sister but actually his daughter. An acquaintance of his was just released from prison and met up with Young-Joon one evening as he got off work. This 'friend' wasn't one at all and had threatened Young-Joon who quickly put this guy in his place, his stroyline will surely become bigger and especially his possible relationship with Hae-Joo.

Not much longer to go, it's the day of the joint broadcast between the two schools and Jung-Hee had spent the day preparing the gym for the event. She decided to visit the local bathhouse to freshen up before the broadcast, Jung-Hee wanted everything to be perfect being Son-Jin's co-host. Jung-Hee never made it to the bathhouse as on her way there who should be lying in wait but Ae-Sook and her two cronies. Ae-Sook had received detention for smoking and thought Jung-Hee was the one who tattled on her, now it's time for revenge though Jung-Hee was innocent of being a blabbermouth.
Three against one weren't good odds for Jung-Hee who fled the scene but was chased by the trio who will not stop until they nab her. Jung-Hee ends up trapped on a lake front, there's nowhere to flee now and it's action time for Ae-Sook who doesn't want to hear any more excuses. The pair begin grappling and with the help of Ae-Sook's two fiends Jung-Hee ends up falling into the lake. She can't swim and is crying out for help, Ae-Sook won't jump in and her two cohorts say they can't swim so the trio make a hasty exit.
When it looks like there's no chance of survival for Jung-Hee who is sinking rapidly out of nowhere comes help. Jung-Hee is in a dream like state and thinks it's Son-Jin who has come to rescue her, we even thought that for a moment. But the scene switches to the beach where Dong-Moon is standing over her. He had noticed Jung-Hee being chased and followed the four to the lake though not quite in time to prevent her from falling in.

Jung-Hee was unconscious and unknown to her for now Dong-Moon had to give her CPR along with mouth to mouth, it may have been his dream come true when he had to pump her chest. Thanks to his efforts Jung-Hee is now saved and shortly after wakes up in a hospital. She thinks there's still time to attend the joint broadcast but it wasn't shortly after when Jung-Hee woke back up. It's now the following day and she completely missed being the co-host of the radio show with Song-Jin.
Jung-Hee didn't believe what her family told her and ran in her hospital garb to the gym. When she arrived it was dark with no students there, now Jung-Hee realizes that she has missed the broadcast and is obviously beyond brokenhearted. But a few seconds before the episode ends she hears a pair of voices, it seems that one of them belongs to Son-Jin and could the other one be the voice of Hae-Joo? Seemed so to me but won't go into detail as episode three will pick up with that scene so that brings us to the end of this yawning recap.

Hope it wasn't too yawning but rarely do two long recaps in a row so was trying to rush through a bit at the end though I think every major detail was covered. So far I'm really enjoying this drama, knew it would be good but didn't think it was going to be so enjoyable. At first was going to watch all eight episodes quickly but will take my time as that way think I'll enjoy it more. So the next pair recaps for episodes three and four should be in about a week or so but in the meantime will be having some solo posts for a pair of the show's stars who will be Chae Seo-Jin and Min Do-Hee.
