Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Marie Iitoyo: Her second 'Mandatory weekly post'.....

Wouldn't exactly call these posts 'mandatory' as these days there's no one else I'd rather post about. Bit amazing that every week there seems to be forty or new pics from Marie activities or some older ones that I was able to discover. Think this makes seven straight weeks for a post and you viewers seem to be finally liking her as the last two have been her most viewed posts. That number should hit double digits as she has two films coming out in the next month plus will be at a TGC show.
In about a week will have the second preliminary 'Top Twenty Faves of 2019' post where I'll list my current top twenty, the final list will begin at the end of November. Seems this year is going to be tougher than ever, one will be trying to find twenty(!) but the positioning will also be very difficult. In that first post Marie was in the second spot but wasn't too far off from being #1. She's now taken over the top spot and her lead over second place has really risen with all of these recent posts. But a lot can happen in three months but it's going to be very tough for anyone to topple her from being number one for the year.

Last post had many pics of Marie at an event for her upcoming film "Inakunare Gunjo" that will be coming out on September 6th. The event took place at the Wald 9 in Shinjuku and have a few more pics from it that weren't in the previous post.

That'll be a busy weekend for Marie as the day after the film's premiere she'll be appearing at the 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show which I think takes place in Chiba.

So far have heard no word if Marie's current drama "Sign" will be subbed, four episodes have aired so far and am holding out hope that it'll eventually be done. She just did another interview last week for the series with 'TheTV.jp' site.

Big slowdown on pics from the More site as these are the only ones from the past week.

But there's a slew of new ones from the Oggi site and Marie is looking more classier these days.

Had missed these pics that came out in July from the Vogue Girl site.

Last Thursday, August 15th, Marie was at a special event called 'Summer Station'. It's being put on by TV-Asahi, it began on July 13th and will be running until August 25th. It's a mini Summer Festival that's being held in Roppogni Hills where you can do the usual Japanese Summer activities such as wear a yukata, eat shaved ice and various other things.

Marie also looks so super duper dressed in a regular kimono and have many new pics from the Suzunoya kimono site. Not all are brand new as some go back to April but had never posted the pics. After them have a video from a May photo shoot for Suzunoya kimonos.
