Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Hinatazaka46: Another huge post of this and that's....

Was just thinking that it's been a while since a '46' group has had a 'BINGO' show. Thought the ones for Nogi had gone way downhill but the shows for Hina and Keya were still enjoyable. Easy to see why Hina hasn't had one for a while as they've been so busy with their regular variety show with another beginning next weekend along with having a current drama. Would be a good idea for Keya to perhaps have another 'BINGO' show or really anything as it's been so long between singles they need to get more exposure before they become forgotten about.
Hina sure hasn't been forgotten about and perhaps these days are the second most popular group behind Nogi. Their fourth single "Sonna Koto Nai yo" has sold impressively at 587,000 copies in two weeks, another 40,000 sold will set a group record for sales. Big post as far as pics go but perhaps not many different happenings, there's 85 pics for this post but these gals are just so busy could have three times as many or perhaps more.

Most Hina posts only get a so-so amount of views or at least compared to Nogi's. But the group's last post was of their 2019 photobook which has been extremely popular, now what we need are some member books and especially for the gal above.  First off are a few pics of Mei who I'm really falling for, had said I would have many pics of her in group posts but am a bit burnt out tonight from all of these recent posts. She will be appearing in the next issue of UTB and we need her in more mags, these are a few pics from the photo shoot.

Mirei is another fave of mine from the group and actually you could say that about all of the first generation members as the girls are just so likable. She's been an exclusive model for Non-no since last June, these are some terrific new pics from their site.

More Mirei here and these fabulous pics are from last week's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show which most should know by now was held in an empty arena due to the virus epidemic. She took a pair of strolls on the catwalk as didn't most members as they were promoting their new 'DASADA' line of clothing, even Nogi doesn't have their own clothes. Also at the show was Ayaka and she's someone who I truly like quite a bit, she could be my second fave member. Thought she was so excellent in their "Re:Mind" drama, to me their current series is really only fair to middling.

May do another group post this week, the past ten days will be the busiest stretch of the year I'll have but it should be slowing down a bit. Next post then will have more variety of happenings and will end off with a pair of spreads. Miku is a second generation member who has become so popular these past few months as she's been the cover girl for three mags! Have one of them here that's from the April issue of Bubka.

Actually it'd be four covers if you include this mag as Miku's joined by Kyoko and Shiho in the March 11th edition of Weekly Shonen. I really like those bottom two pics of the spread. First set of pics though are some behind the scenes ones of Kyoko. She's had a few recent solo posts and Shiho really deserves one which may be happening soon. Hina's new variety show starting next Sunday is titled "Hinatazaka46 desu. Chotto ii desu ka?" and in it they play reporters interviewing celebs. There's a short CM promoting the show which you can view after the pics.
