Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Minami Tanaka: Another huge post of this and that's....

Minami has now had nineteen posts in a little over fourteen months which is an excellent pace and she's really become such a huge fave of most of you viewers. Doesn't matter though how many posts she has this year as she's ineligible for the 2020 top twenty list. That's because Minami was #1 last year, once you finish in the top spot you're not eligible for any more lists and go into the small but very elite 'Nao Hall of Fame'. However Minami would be able to be on the next 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list, did my first one about a year and a half ago. Positive she would make the next one but wouldn't do that until the Autumn of 2021, that is if I'm still around.

These above pics are from Minami's first photobook "Sincerely Yours" and what a smashing success it's been. Last week it was the second best seller and to date has sold close to 408,000 copies! What an incredible number that is and it's only 2,300 copies behind "Passport" which is the best selling PB of all time, should pass that book within the next two weeks and how does she ever top something like that?
On to the new pics and though there's been such a slowdown on activities in Japan it hasn't affected Minami at all. Not too much that is as because of the ban on events we haven't seen her at a recent one but still have over fifty new pics. Her last event was the Spring 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Spring show that took place on February 29th. She was an emcee for the 'My Navi Wedding Dress' stage, wish she took a stroll like other models did and she did once two years ago.

Not too much announcing work lately though Minami is still a co-host of a Wednesday women's talk show, with the success she's had as a actress and model why continue with the announcing? It being Spring time means many sites and clothing lines have been putting out their Spring collections and Minami is such an in demand model these days. Have some pics from a few of them and first off are these superb pics from the VIS site.

These are for the Snidel Spring collection.

Whew, even more new modeling pics which are for Mercury Duo.

That bottom pic is quite fabulous, we won't be seeing her do as many gravure spreads but she still looks so ultra alluring regardless of how she's clad. One final batch of pics which are from the Voce site and an interview she did with them about makeup and such.

How about more interview pics which are from the Asahi Digital site. Minami was talking about her new drama "M Loved Someone" which begins next month on Abema-TV.

Bottom pic above is a promo one for the show.Have a trio of new mag spreads to end off with and the final one is so magnificent. This first one is too small from the March issue of Ginger, with her is Ayaka Hironaka and the pair have done many special news shows and the like, what a cutie she is.

Another small spread for Minami that's from the March edition of Maquia.

This final spread is Minami's best set of pics since the sets promoting her photobook. She hasn't completely given up with gravure pics and this terrific set is from the March issue of Smart. After the pics is a new CM for Meiji's 'Tanpact' which is a bit long but worth a view.
