Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Megumi: Her scorching second photobook "Meg"

You're not going to see a vast amount of these older photobooks though may have one now and again. To me these older books are almost as terrific as the ones you see these days though there are a few differences. One is that books prior to 2010 were much smaller, these days they're often 125+ pages and back then eighty or so was the norm. Plus the books were smaller physically, think of a novel and the size difference between the hard cover and paperback versions.

Thought this would be a nice lead in to the pair of recaps for the "Informa" drama that are the next two posts. Megumi plays an editor in that series and looks mighty fine to me though there aren't too many screenshots of her in the recaps. About ten days did a post for Megumi's first photobook that came out in 2001(!), she was born in 1981. This book was released in May 2002 so it was just prior to her turning 21 in age. I've had a semi crush on Megumi since viewing her in the "Pride" drama from 2004 though didn't see it until five years later, have seen her in a good amount of dramas but not enough of them. Also have Megumi's third photobook that came out in 2004 so will also be doing a post for that, probably at the end of the month. On to the photos which total 86 and to me it's one super duper book. While books back in ancient times(!) had less overall pages the amount of gravure pics seems to be about the same.
