Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

BababaBambi: A little(lot) bit of this and that....

This is just the second ever group post, the other was done in April and ended up being extremely popular. Did do a post last week for a member but the last few months the group has been way too quiet or at least compared to the first half of 2023. Especially Mio who is leading off these proceedings and she hasn't had a post since July 23rd. That was her sixth post of the year and had she another 2-3 could have seen her making the top ten on last year's faves list. Hard to explain why but I have been smitten with Mio for about four years, if she ever wanted to do gravure modeling full time she'd be one of my all time faves, hope this slow period means a rash of spreads or whatever will be coming out soon.

It's now Tuesday and did begin writing this up two days ago as I wasn't sure what shape I would be in so needed a bit of a head start! So this post is kind of a mish mash of things and bet there's close to eighty new pics for today. BababaBambi still continues to perform at many concerts and is now on a major label but seems they just haven't been as busy the past few months. That could be because we haven't seen all that many magazine spreads from them nor any recent digital books so hopefully that means that they're overdue for some of those. Here are some recent group pics and the bottom one is of them standing outside of the historic Budokan concert hall. On March 14th the group will be headlining their first ever show there so their popularity has really risen these past two years.

BababaBambi used to have seven members but a pair left in May, hopefully they'll remain stable for a while and have heard no news of recruiting any new members. So these are the five current gals and their names are on the pics.

Do have a ultra terrific new group spread that will end the post but sadly it doesn't feature Mio. So let's have some of her recent IG pics and not all that many for three months. When I first started posting about Mio she was a popular cosplayer who started out in Fukuoka and didn't move to Tokyo until 2019, at 26 in age she's the oldest member.

Usa also isn't in the new mag spread so also have some recent IG pics for her, those bottom two are for an upcoming spread. She's by far the most popular member of the group here, of the 29 women in 2023 who had six or more posts she had an average of 700 views a post which placed her 12th which to me is impressive.

The Maly Moon site is a place where you can purchase BababaBambi uniforms but probably not in my size! These are brand new pics from the site, the first ones in the batch are for Christmas while the others as you can see are for Valentine's Day.

Now on to the super duper new magazine spread and there are two sets for it. The first features outtakes, promo and 'clean versions' of the spread with the three members being Miyu plus Rui and Saeko who are also both 26 in age but just a little younger than Mio.

The spread is from the January issue of Young Dragon Age which is volume twenty and this is the third time BababaBambi members have been their cover girls. Shame there's no video of the photo shoot, wouldn't mind seeing a gravure one with Miyu. Two months ago the five members appeared on the "Idol Kamigoe Challenge" show which I found to be very entertaining, Mai Shinuchi was a co-host and the gals tried their hand at Karaoke singing older J-Pop tunes, that video is after the pics and if you're a fan you should enjoy viewing it.
