Risa Watanabe: Her legendary "Dakishimetaku Naru Shunkan" memorial graduation photobook

Will have one more Keya/Sakura photobook coming up and that's the one which was released two weeks ago, say coming up but it wouldn't be until February as I always wait at least three months before posting an Idol photobook. But after that there may be no more for the '46' members unless a few release a second book. Risa's first photobook which came out in April 2019 is one of my all time favorites, when I did a list three years ago for my top books it finished in the eleventh position and when you think about how many hundreds of books have been posted here that's an impressive spot. It had quite a few gravure pics but actually less than most Idol books, wish this book had more scantly clad photos but I still say Risa is my all time most attractive woman and my opinion of that went up after viewing these pics. Wouldn't say she's number one in any category but when I look at her from head to toe then no one touches her!!!!!

Because of the lack of gravure pics many may not enjoy this book as much as her first but when you look closer at the pics then you will definitely be rewarded.... or at least I was! Risa has always been a quiet woman and has often shunned the spotlight which may not have helped her career. However she is one terrific friend and in this book didn't forget her Keya/Sakura mates. Below are two examples of the book and and she shared many pages with graduates such as Neru and also some current members at the time such as Aoi and Rika in the second pic below, the two were so close for many years. So there are many pages such as the two below where she also talked about each member which was a nice touch and that uniqueness makes this book a little special and face it, don't some of you get tired of looking at non-stop gravure pics?

Risa's first book was a huge seller with over 115,000 copies sold and that's the second highest total for any Keya member. Graduation books never sell as well a regular ones plus books after 2020 have seen such a nosedive in sales but at close to 70,000 copies sold that's an impressive number to me. The photo shoots took place in early 2022 so there were still many restrictions and Idols still had to remain in Japan for their books, no big deal as Risa still could take trips to Okinawa and Hokkaido though most photos were taken in the Tokyo area. Risa graduated from Keya on May 22, 2022 and this book was released five days before that, it contains 128 pages. So hope all enjoy this book and I really do, it is a huge set of pics that will grow on you and we may. never see photos such as these again from her again. Lately Risa has been ultra quiet, for the last five or so months the only activity she's done is modeling for Non-no who published this book but besides that has done virtually nothing else and that's really bummed me out....

  1. Hello, long-time supporter's here.
Do you have plan to upload Mizuki Yamauchi(AKB48)'s photobook scans?

    Thank you.
