Marie Iitoyo: A little of this and that for March....

As far as actresses go these last two months I've wanted to post more about Marie than anyone else. She may have had more posts but not nearly as many as I or her fans out there would like. Don't think Marie is in high demand for gravure spreads but I can't think of the last time such an attractive gal has burst on to the scene. Actually Marie isn't all that new as she's been an actress and a model for some years now, just hadn't noticed enough of her until the last few months.
Not positive but think this is Marie's seventh post here so far this year which is a respectable number. All of them though have been about her attending some sort of event, not enough mag spreads that feature her. As mentioned above she's not in demand for gravure spreads but on the other hand don't think she feels the need to do them which is kind of refreshing.
I really do prefer gals more in her vein though you may not think that way with so many of the posts I do, truly think she has a long career ahead of her. Do have one Marie spread for today and it's a fine looking one from Chanel. Surprised there haven't been more as she has a film coming out this Saturday, also there haven't been any web interviews that I've been able to find.

Title of the film that is coming out on April 1st is "Girls in the Dark". Marie has the co-lead in the film but the other female star is gone from the scene. Her name is Fumika Shimuzu and not going to get into her story as there's plenty of articles for you to read about her. In a nutshell what happened was she 'retired' from the entertainment industry and has joined a religious cult group called Happy Science, her parents had been brainwashing her with that cult crap since she was a toddler.
That leaves Marie to do the bulk of the promoting for the film and she has been. There's been a few other events lately but the pics here are from a screening that took place on March 20th in Harajuku. It's going to be a while until the film comes out on DVD but it does look like an interesting thriller, one that really looks deserving of a viewing. Will be back Saturday with a post for the premiere but here are some pics from the March 20th screening along with the movie's poster.

The 'Tokyo Girls Collection' shows are quite good but the problem is there are so many actresses, Idols and models there it's hard to get a lot of exposure. Luckily for us the organizers had Marie make an appearance, let's hope we see her at many more of these shows. She was at one in Kobe a few weeks back, I'll try to dig up some pics from that. Not many pics from this event but least they're all high quality, only video was way too short so have one from that March 20th screening after the pics.
