Bae Suzy: A little of this and that....
Of course as her fans know Suzy in quite a popular figure in Korea and really you could say outside of the country too. But I've been noticing she also has quite a few detractors and don't know why that is, nobody's perfect but perhaps there's many jealous people out there and it's not just her that gets put down. That'll never happen here as I've turned into a semi-big fan these last few months and also I never do negative posts about anyone here, only negatives you may hear from me are for drama or film reviews.
Out of curiosity was checking Suzy's income and she is one of the higher paid actresses/celebs in Korea and she makes most of it from promoting products. No one seemed to know the exact total for 2016 but her income is in the millions and a lot of that is from outside of Korea. Don't know if it's true but seems Korean actresses and celebs seem to make much more than their Japanese counterparts even though it's a much smaller country.
Suzy is generous though as on December 11th she made a donation if 15 million won to 'Life Share Korea'. Back in 2015 Suzy made a donation of 100 million yen or $92,000 to 'Community Chest of Korea' and she's now an Honor Society Member, bet she makes more contributions than are revealed.
Do have "Masterpiece" by AKB on in the background and have to admit the songs from their first era are close to unbeatable. After Suzy left Miss A she was quiet on the music scene but did release a mini album in January. Now she has another single and I presume mini album coming out this January, will have more info once the news comes out. Can't say I'm a fan of K-Pop but have been learning more of the groups these past few months and Miss A seems okay to me though not enough videos on YT. Pics here are new of Suzy in the studio and were posted on her Instagram account.
Aren't too many products Suzy doesn't promote and here are some new pics for Clalen, the ones in black and white are more than oki doki.
There's no doubt I and most viewers really enjoy Japanese Idols but it seems these days a requirement is to also be a gravure model. That's one reason I've been attracted to Suzy and a few other Korean actresses/celebs this year as their more conservative style is like a breath of fresh air The above pics are about as racy as they come though their appearances at events is a different story. Have a pair of mag spreads with the first one being from the Chinese edition of Cosmopolitan for January and that's another country where her fame has spread to.
Second spread is also from January and it's for InStyle, for you viewers from that quasi continent of Down Under the pics were shot there.
Korea has a lot of awards shows coming up in the next month and we should see Suzy winning a few for her role as Hong-Joo in the "While You Were Sleeping" drama. Would like to see her in more shows but most of her past ones look a bit too fluffy which is not a genre I'm fond of so let's hope her next series is more long the lines of WYWS. Final batch of pics is from a photo shoot Suzy did for her 2018 calendar 'Seasons Greetings' but sadly there's no video of it. But do have one following the pics which is an outtake from the WYWS drama and there's a bunch more on YT.
If they're better than oki-doki then would that make em...holy-moly?
ReplyDeleteShot down under and ya can't even tell. Just checked where and good thing it was there as I would've flipped some tables if it was here. Little trivia, they sound more British over there.
Was thinking about WYWS and how Yoo-Bum's plans were all foiled by some cheating(dream sequences) his frustration was understandable.
