Was going to begin off by saying how unpopular Nao is here which is only half true. Her posts get a decent amount of views but in all honesty thought they would have received twice as many. It's kind of funny how the women I expect to be very popular with you viewers aren't but the opposite is also true as some gals I never expected to be superstars here are and I don't know the reasons for either scenario! In the case of Nao it could be because she's had so few posts but this makes it three months in a row with one which is a first for her. In another week she'll be releasing her 2026-27 calendar plus will have at least one magazine to promote it so May could be the fourth month in a row with a post! To top it off also have a pair of medium sized digital books from last year so if I wait until June to post then that could mean five consecutive months with a Nao post!
In the three year stretch from 2021-23 did a yearly list of my favorite photobooks, have also done a pair for my all time books but it's been a while since one of those lists were done. It does take me a while to obtain books so those lists weren't done until April or May of the following year. The amount of photobooks from my favorite women have decreased over the years but not their quality and last year the books may have been better than ever. Bring that up for Nao's second photobook would have ranked way up there, perhaps in the third spot! This book should garner Nao some new fans and I've liked her close to a decade, to me these are her steamiest pictures to date. As far as books go last year the top two spots would have been for a Hina and Nogi member, let me go back and look at last year's books again, if there are enough for a list then next month will have a list of my favorites.
Nao's solo career is going well and I never expected that we would have heard much from her after graduating and glad I was wrong. Since leaving SKE in September 2022 she's appeared in fourteen stage plays, hosts a radio show and has made some guest appearances in dramas. But the best part has been Nao's gravure work, she's had this book plus six digital ones and doing gravure modeling has given a boost to many recent ex-Idols. This September Nao will be hitting the age of thirty and was just thinking it'd be such a shock to see her qualify for this year's faves list but I would love to see it happen! For her second photobook Nao traveled to Taiwan and aren't the photos below just out of this world?! They truly are and in another inspiration perhaps I can do another post for her or least make her next one gigantic. For there was a magazine spread to promote the book plus there was an event, some interviews and outtake photos so when you add those up it has the makings of a terrific post! "Shiranai Watashi" translates over to The Unknown Me and Nao released it on her 29th birthday which was last September 15th, there's 107 photos in the book.
