Kie Kitano: Tenshi wa Mop wo Motte episode 3 screenshots and recap
Our fave, least she's mine, janitor is back for the final two episodes of this short drama where besides cleaning a building she also 'cleanses' their souls. These are real easy to give a recap to, episodes are short and truly are a bit lame without too many event that take place each show but still I found it was a drama worth watching, all Kie fans shouldn't miss it
This time around Kiriko's(Kie) office friend and occasional helper Daisuke ends up falling for a coworker who works a few floors above but as in many dramas it's one sided. This woman isn't as nice as she appears to be or wasn't at first as she was having an affair with her much older supervisor, he was planning on giving his daughter a specially made panda doll but it was a bit wrecked and was thrown away in a bag of shredded paper. Kiriko, who misses zero, noticed this and was on the hunt to find the fiend that did this, all eyes at first pointed towards the coworker who was having an affair with her supervisor but it wasn't to be her, naturally only one person could find out who it was and she did. Turns out it was one of Daisuke's coworkers who also at one time had an affair with the supervisor, she was also the person who had made the panda doll but had put a picture in it for really no reason, just a sour of the moment action by her she said. That action got the better of her though and she went stole the panda back and had to destroy it to get the picture back, there was no time to repair it so she got rid of it which was discovered shortly after by Kiriko. All ended well again as Kiriko 'cleansed' the woman's soul like she had done in all the previous episodes, also keeping it a secret from everyone and at the end once again everyone in the office was back a bit to being a happy unit.
At 28 minutes an episode you can't expect a whole lot of things to happen and it doesn't in this series but that doesn't take anything away from it as it moves along at a good pace and is rarely boring. Have some screenshots here from this episode and check out the next post for a recap of the final of this drama.
Kie Kitano: Tenshi wa Mop wo Motte episode 4 screenshots and recap
And now for the finale of this very short drama, only 4 episodes at 28 minutes each but that's okay, it was entertaining and every now and again you need these kind of dramas, plus Kie as Kiriko was her usual kawaii self.
This time around the 'love mystery' revolved around Kiriko, we've known all along a worker at her building named Daisuke has liked her all along but he's not the only one to have taken a liking to her. This fact was unknown for most of this episode as the major story here was someone was vandalizing the men's bathroom each night doing some really terrible things and making Kiriko have to work so much harder and longer to clean the messes up each morning. Kiriko and Daisuke had even waited through the night to catch the vandal but to no avail, the bathroom was still a complete mess in the morning. Eventually Daisuke waited by himself one early morning and found the culprit who was a coworker whose office was a few floors up and was in a high position in the company. The worker did have a huge crush on Kiriko and his plan was to keep leaving such messes each morning so she would quit, he thought she was such a wonderful person that being a janitor was too beneath her. Well, that plan failed miserably for him as Kiriko's first love as always been cleaning for some reason, not just the building where she worked but everything in general, such as when she cleans others sins away. But as usual all ended on a happy note as the worker got told off to an extent but that wasn't fired, he seemed to have learned the errors of his misguided thinking and Kiriko ended up forgiving him too. Show really ended on that note, one lingering question is whether Kiriko and Daisuke would ever get together, seems a sure bet that they would it wasn't that way yet at the drama's conclusion.
If you like sort of sappy, lame and forgettable dramas then would recommend this one, it's enjoyable to kick back and watch these kind of series now and again, they always don't work but think this one did. Total length of the series was only 112 minutes so it's like watching a movie that had 4 different storylines in it, so if it's quickie show you're looking for then you've found it here, I'd rate it a solid 8/10. Being such a short show means I couldn't take enough screenshots of Kie who looked terrific as always in this show, enjoy these pics of her and coming up shortly will also be doing a recap of her TV movie from March, her second Unfair movie.

Kie Kitano: Tenshi wa Mop wo Motte drama episode 1 screenshots & recap
Was surprised this drama is getting subbed, one that's sure to fly under the radar but through 2 episodes have found it to be an enjoyable and pleasant watch, would recommend it if you want a mini break from regular dramas.
Kii plays Kiriko Minekawa who is a professional janitor in a small building but one who takes so much pride in her work and is truly an expert in her field, one that was taken for granted where she worked. Kiriko through her cleaning talents can use them to help solve minor mysteries and also as she likes to put it 'cleanse' people's hearts. In this first episode a young worker worked late to finish up an important project, he finished but discovered in the morning that someone had 'stolen' it so once agin he stayed through the night to do it over but once again the next morning it was gone! This is where Kiriko came in, through her knowledge of cleaning and more so knowing everything in the building by heart she was able to discover where the missing projects went to and the person that had stolen it twice. Kiriko and Daisuke, the worker who had done the projects, confronted the fiend who had done this, they didn't turn the woman in to her superior but had a nice long talk with her, Kiriko though young is very wise with her words and helped this woman 'cleanse' herself of the problems she was having and everything turned out nice and tidy.
That's the way the series is going to be, bit lame and predictable but for the most part it's going to be a fun watch, through two episodes it has been and check out the next post for a recap and screenshots for that episode. This show started on May 4th and will be running for 4 episodes until May 25th, it's a late night drama that airs at 11:15 pm, the late night shows have turned into my faves as of late and whenever one gets subbed I'm sure to watch it. Kii simply looks great in it, she is just way too underrated in both the acting and looks department, she gets an A+ from me in both fields, just check out how terrific she looks in the screenshots from the first episode.
