Ghost Mama Sousasen: episode 4 synopsis and Yukie Nakama screenshots

Had been hoping that the series would change a bit, such as making Mirai's or Ikki's roles a bit bigger, well it happened this episode though with not the greatest of results, an okay effort but no storyline you haven't seen before.
Aio(Mirai) has been studying hard for her exams with a friend at a local diner, she also has the hots for a waiter there but is too shy to speak up. One day her friend gives her two free tickets for a movie the next day and even asks the guy to go to the movies with Aoi and he agrees, sending her into seventh heaven. The pair, of course being followed by her ghost mama Choko(Yukie), have a real good time and are planning to go out somewhere else when they are spotted by her father. Aoi had told him she would be studying and went on the date behind his back, he went over the top when he spotted them, yelling at her and telling him to leave, never to see his daughter again!

The argument continued at home with Kohei even slapping Aoi and she ended up running away, still of course being followed by Choko who had seen what a fine young man her date was but couldn't tell her husband that. Well to make a short story even shorter Choko once again enlists the help of her son Tonbo to try to patch things up, they staged something where Aoi would go back to the diner to see her boyfriend. It worked and when Aoi got there her father was apologizing to her boyfriend for making such a scene, Aoi sees him and also forgives him as he does to her and as fairy tales go it ended up happily ever after.
So-so episode at best, think when Choko solved crimes the stories were a bit more interesting, this episode ended up being a bit boring and way too predicatable. An okay watch but the worst so far for this series, keeping my fingers crossed that the plots will become a bit more original from now on. As usual a bnch of screenshots of Yukie from the latest episode, though her part was still the biggest she didn't have much of an impact on what happened event wise this week. However we did learn about her and Kohei, seems as though when Aoi was 2 years old he got divorced from his wife, the two of them lived alone for the next seven years until him and Choko met and it was love at first sight!

Ghost Mama Sousasen: episode 3 synopsis and Yukie Nakama screenshots

Choko(Yukie) as the Ghost Mama returns for episode 3 and it was a solid watch, not real, real good but what happened in this episode just may make things a bit interesting for the remaining shows.
As Tonbo and his father are out one morning taking a walk the dog of Choko's former boss at the police department comes running up alone barking in a panic. As the two, of course Choko is with them but unseen by her former husband, go rushing to the scene to find out her ex-boss Mifune has had a cardiac arrest while jogging and has died. Mifune also becomes a ghost and we know that when he is able to see Choko, surprisingly he's calm though he just died but now Choko has a partner in a way to help her solve crimes but of course her son Tonbo has to once again be the go-between as the ghost still can't physically touch or communicate with humans.
The case this time involved a purse snatcher, a student from Choko's daughter Aoi's high school got wrongly blamed for being the purse snatcher when he wasn't, just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and he got expelled from school for being accused of being the culprit. Through a lucky photo taken by Tonbo they find out who the real criminal was, Choko had seen the criminal before but could take no action to stop him, so her and Mifune with the help of Tonbo and another officer end up catching the thief with Choko being a sort of hero, when it appeared Tonbo was about to get hurt she was able to lift an object to stop the culprit, seems as though ghosts can do things like that when a loved one of their's is in danger, so all ended well.
Yes, once again an okay but far from great episode but was still an enjoyable watch, hopefully with Mifune as a ghost the cases and interactions with the pair will become interesting. Also hoping for Ikki and Mirai's roles to get bigger, once again they were both window dressing which I really hope changes, speaking of Mirai check out the next post for some screenshots of her from the first three episodes and here's a bunch of Yukie from the latest show.

Ghost Mama Sousasen: episode 2 synopsis and Yukie Nakama screenshots

Mentioned after the first episode was unsure what direction this drama would take, was an okay beginning but had room for improvement but there was also the possibility of it slipping, after episode 2 those thoughts haven't changed, bit of a better episode byt still room for improvement.
In the first episode Choko(Yukie) with the help of her youg son solved a serial arson case, the arsonist was also the one responsible for Choko's death. This time around there was no police case to solve but Choko and her son Tonbo helped out the ghost she met briefly in the first episode named Takeru, played by Kento Kaku but as you'll see he'll no onger be around. Seems as though ghosts stay around on earth long enough to fulfill whatever their unfinished business may have been, for Choko it's still raising her very timid son, for Takeru it was to apologize to the girl who she thought he had stood her up on a date.
However that was not the case, on the way to meet the girl called Kaho for their date was when he got likked in an accident, she didn't know that though so for six months she's been quite bothered by him standing her up. So he had to remain on Earth until he could somehow apologize to her but it was impossible being a ghost but once again this is where Tonbo saves the fay. The glasses that enable him to see his mother also let hom see other ghosts so it's arranged for him to meet up with Kaho to explain what happened. Of course she didn't believe him at first, whi would believe a young boy saying that the ghost of Takeru told him to tell her what exactly happened. Eventually in a bit of a sappy ending she did come around and forgave him though shortly after this a beam of light appeared out of the sky and whisked Takeru to heaven as his destiny was fulfilled, will this happen to Choko by the end of the series?
Quite a simple story, which is okay because it was an enjoyable watch, tad better than the opening episode though it could be better. One way would be to have the roles of Choko's husband Kohei(Ikki Swamura) and her daughter Aoi(Mirai Shida) expanded, both are fine actors but so far their roles have been too small and not that substantial, really hoping that'll change. All in all though it's been a pleasant of enough watch for the first 2 episodes, nothing ground breaking but good enough to view if you were thinking about it and to end off like we always will here's plenty of Yukie sceeenshots from this episode.
