Nao Kanzaki: The ten most popular posts for the first half of 2022....

EDIT: It's early Friday morning and am having some internet issues which may last a while so if there's no posts you know what the problem is.... 4:00 pm, it's now oki doki!

Didn't want to have this post until the weekend but there wasn't much else going on, could have done a photobook post but there's been too many of them lately. Viewers have always enjoyed these lists and as the title says it's what the most viewed posts have been for the first half of the year. For that looked at the posts done between December 1st and May 31st but the end of the year one is slightly different. For that look at all posts and not just the ones done since December 1st, every now and again an old post pops up. For instance last year Erika's "Intermission" photobook had the most views for 2021 with 6,040. In 2020 it had the second most views and in 2019 it was third so that post has some staying power!!!! Overall that post has close to 23,000 views and think it's #5 on the all time list. Know it's been a while since an Erika post, she has been busy since her Nogi graduation but to be honest don't think her activities have been all that exciting.

Those first two pics above are of Kyoko, last year the post for her photobook had the second highest amount of views. But it was #1 for posts done in 2021 and that's what this list is for, just posts done since December 1st. Of course the other two pics belong to Miru whose "Love Rush" photobook post was number one in 2020 with 6,292 views. That too is a post with staying power as it's getting close to 13,000 views but still isn't in the top ten of all time yet. Her first solo single comes out in two weeks and am so close to having a post for her so expect that very soon. There's been a trio of newbies for this year who have been just so popular but they had only one post in the top ten for most views but the list at the end of the year may have twenty spots so you may see more of them then.

That's Maria right above whose first ten posts have all had many views, just not enough to make the cut. Right above her is Asuka who is even more popular, she did have one post in the top ten and could end up being the most popular gal here for 2022. On to the list and as I always do have it from tenth to first to keep the suspense up! Usually photobooks dominate these lists but not so for this one as they just have half of the entries. There's still a long way to go in the year so many positions will change and they may not make the whole year list. So will have the post, a link to it, the amount of views and a few pics from that post.

#10... Keya46, their 'Opulent fourth post for 2022'  has received 1,712 views

Every now and again a group post sneaks onto the list, that happened two years ago with a Hina post for their group photobook. There's been a decent amount of solo posts the last month but have been wanting to do a group one for Keya which hasn't worked out well. Still want to have one by the end of the month so wish me luck with it....

#9.... Yuuri Saito, 1,782 views for her "7 byou no Shiawase" photobook

Here's a nice surprise, have had six posts for Nogi books this year and this has been the most popular to date! Don't know when but promise to have a list this year of my fave Nogi photobooks, many may not agree with me but this will end up being in my top five! I miss Yuuri and she's also in my top five for hottest Nogi members, she 'retired' about a year ago and that's happening quite often lately with Idols who left their groups.

#8.... Risa Watanabe, 'Her stupefying 55th post' has 2,010 views to date

I like it more when posts like these kinds end up with so many views, they're much harder to do than photobooks and take much longer too. Back in 2019 Risa had a post that was #1 for the year, it had 4,081 views so you can see how many more views posts are getting these days. She did have a post two weeks ago but not much has been going on since then, the 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list begins in August and for now she's the front runner.

#7.... Hina Kawata, her 'The wondrous third Hina Kawata' post has 2,128 views

Another regular post and like Keya its been a bit difficult to do a group post for Hina even though they had a single come out three weeks ago. Not to be confused with the group but this Hina is a member who so many have taken a liking to the past year. Something special will be coming up for her fans as on July 3rd will celebrate the holiday with a post for her sweltering first photobook!!!!

#6.... Yume Shinjo has 2,244 views for her "Yumeiro photobook" post

A 'Nao Year' begins on December 1st, also this list, and three posts from that month made the cut. That's a high amount of views for six months though really thought it would be higher as Yume is just so immensely popular here. She did have a mini break to begin the year off but have had two posts in the past month and am on the verge of having another any day.

#5.... Hono Tamura, her "Ippome photobook" post has 2,635 views to date

Mentioned in the previous post that a Keya member would be having a photobook come out this August. This book was released last August 17th and it's been the only regular Keya book since September 2019!!!! Still waiting for a second book for Yui but this one is quite superb and many fans know that with such a high amount of views, sadly no solo posts for her since then.

#4.... Asuka Kazuwa, has 2,647 views for her 'Ninth sweltering post'

She's going to end up being the number one most popular woman here for 2022 which is a mild surprise but not overly shocking. Kind of a close battle between the fifth and second positions and wonder how many will keep getting views to remain on the yearly list when that's done in December?

#3.... Nashiko Momotsuki, her "Mikan photobook" post has 2,695 views

This may be the most disappointing one of all! Nashiko is just so popular here so I thought by now this would be over 4,000 views and it's not even close to that. Not that the current total could be considered low but this is such a fabulous book it should be higher. But as mentioned a few times there's a long way to go in the year so perhaps it could double that current amount of views by December.

#2.... Riho Yoshioka, has 2,962 views for her "Riho Collection" photobook

A slight surprise here as though this is a solid book there have been better ones this past year. But Riho is just one of the most popular women of all time here so any post she has gets a lot of views. Posts for this year have been a rarity as she's just had two to date, she has this really bad habit of disappearing for long stretches and she's in one of those now.

#1.... Mizuki Fukumura, her 'Talk about an overdue post' has 6,874 views!!!!

What happens on occasion is that someone puts a link of a post on a forum or their website, it's happened enough in the past. So though this is deserving of being number one for the year that total amount of views is somewhat inflated but on the other hand perhaps it's happened with other posts on this list. What's happened with Mizuki is the question of the year, this has been her only post for 2022 and there's hardly anything new for her despite Morning Musume having a new single out. Forgot she had a photobook come out in January so that'll be something to look forward to.
