First time I've ever done this kind of post and not sure why the idea popped up in my mind. But when it did was a bit curious about how many views the posts have received and some of them were quite shocking. This year ended up being quite busy as far as visitors coming here goes and did set a record this year for post views. Bit surprising that happened as my laptop crashed at the end of April and for the next three months only did half the posts I usually do.
Even if that didn't happen wouldn't have had as many posts as 2017 which was a record year. However after all these years think I've gotten into a nice groove, to me these posts have become so much bigger and interesting which is why a record amount of visitors may have stopped by this year. So thanks if you've been someone who frequents this blog which will never be among the most popular ones in the world. That's probably because of the content as how many English speaking fans are there for J-Pop Idols, actresses from both Japan and Korea along with their dramas and films?
There are some surprises in the top ten, mainly who made the list but also for a pair who didn't. As all know that's Mai above and though her posts have among the highest average of views not one post from her made the top ten. As a matter of fact not one of her posts came close as she had zero in the top twenty but bet her "Passport" photobook post in 2017 came close to the top. The other immensely popular gal around here is Rika who is so close to being my #1 current fave. Her posts also draw a huge amount of views and thought her photobook pics posted in September had a chance for the top ten but it didn't turn out that way, probably because they were posted so late in the year.
So on to the top ten most viewed posts for 2018, number one I had figured on taking the top spot and it did. But many of the other nine astonished me and especially the positions two and three. Will be working from ten to one and there will be 4-5 pics from that post. Their name, post date, total views and post title will be included.
While these may not seem like a lot of high numbers they are to me, the posts the past three to four months have all been heavily viewed and much more than compared to ones in the past. Always get putting a link in posts wrong but will try to do that again today. Will have the link for that post and if it doesn't work you can always copy and then right click to go to that post, so let's go!!!!

#10 Kazusa Okuyama, March 25th, 1650 views.... 'Her intro post #2'
This was Kazusa's second post ever and what a fave she's quickly become here. She's one of only two gals to have more than one post in the top ten and she came so close to having #1. Just had another post last week which is definitely worth checking out and while this post was certainly a superb view thought many others deserved it over this one.

No doubt that this one here was the biggest shock of the top ten. It was an excellent post but would have thought so many others would have topped this number which obviously didn't happen. Rena is still a member of AKB and appears to be a popular member but sadly there's been close to zero to post about her recently.
#6 Yuuka Sugai, June 24th, 1845 views.... 'Fiancee photobook scans'
Hard not to be a Yuuka fan as she's one of the more likable Idols but thought a different Keya member would have beaten her out. Am working on a group post which will be up next and thought there were better photobooks than this one this year but it was the number five best seller.
#5 Fumika Baba, January 20th, 1925 views.... 'Iropooyo photobook scans'
This PB had come out way back in December 2016 but finally got around to posting it at the beginning of the year. Fumika is probably the second most popular gravure model here but she's also an up and coming actress. This year was very slow for her, previous two years had averaged a post a month for her while for 2018 think she only had about five posts.
#4 Nanase Nishino, June 1st, 2080 views.... 'Watashi no Koto photobook scans'
The only Nanase post to make the top ten though to me she's the most loved of any gal I post about. Her average post count for views is by far the highest as most get in the 700-1,000 range. She's also had by far the most posts of anyone this year and even with her graduation think she'll continue to have a huge amount of them, she has one right below this post. This was her third PB and it ended up being the fourth best selling one of the year.

#2 Kazusa Okuyama, February 15, 3070 views.... 'Her intro post #1'
Introduced more new gals than ever this year and there's no doubt who was #1 in the eyes of viewers. That's Kazusa who was also my fave new person this year and she had two posts that made the top ten. First saw her in the 'Lupinranger' Sentai series which will be ending soon, she's become so popular this year and hope she takes advantage of the momentum.
#1 Erina Mano, April 26th, 3107 views.... 'Erina photobook scans'
Tight battle for first but had the feeling ever since I posted this PB that it would be number one for the year. It deserved it too as this was the best photobook of the year and one of the top five for all time. Have only done one Erina post since then, she did get married at the end of July but is still active as an actress.
She did have a film come out at the beginning of the month, been trying to work on a new post but there's been no new mag spreads or things like that lately. Her photobooks are all worth at least one view, recommend checking this one out along with all of her others.
