Mizuki Fukumura: Her dazzling third photobook "Kagayaki" scans.... a repost....

 

 This should be one of my quickest posts of the year(sigh, it wasn't) and certainly hope so, didn't plan on having any posts for today. Seems every month this year has followed a pattern, the first two weeks are somewhat busy for the women I enjoy doing posts for. Then there's a gap of ten days when they don't do all that much and then the final week once again they become a bit busy. Right now we're in that ten day slow period but least I've had some things in reserve plus have had a few of these older photobooks to clean up. But not for much longer as I've just about wrapped them up and may do so within the next month. These 'reposts' are for books who had two posts when one would have been plenty, this is one of them. Then there's also books where I obtained a better version or wanted to fix the order of the pictures, neither is the case here. But there's one more reason and that's to put some of my top women back in the spotlight after not having posts for them for a while. That wasn't the case for Mizuki as she's had two other posts since the beginning of October but those were her first in over a year! I truly can't get enough of Mizuki 😍 and she was the savior for today as I was going to take the day off. But did want to continue that streak of having at least one post a day for November and can I make it another six days? There are seven left in November but almost always take the final day of a month off.

 Mizuki's last post had plenty of recent pictures and last month she did release her eleventh photobook, her first solo one in two years or since she graduated from Morning Musume in November 2023. Every Mizuki book is so fabulous but she doesn't have that close to perfect one which is okay, think I'd rather have eleven super duper books than two that are the creme of the creme! "Kagayaki" was Mizuki's third book and was released on December 5, 2015. At the time she was nineteen in age, won't post her first two books because she was under eighteen and three weeks ago she hit the age of 29. The photo shoot took place in Kaga which is in the prefect of Kanazawa and that's on the west coast of Japan. Nice to see a change as most H!P books are set in Okinawa, on occasion in Hawaii or Guam. Did say Mizuki had no ultimate photobook but they kept getting better as the years went on, her final five were the best and unsure if I could pick out my favorite. On to the book which is a smallish one with just 74 photos and another reason for wanting to have this book is that many of you may not have been aware it was here. Mizuki is one of the most popular J-Pop Idols I've ever posted about yet the two posts for this book only had a combined total of 4,000 views, it should have been double that so bet many of her fans didn't know about this as it was posted over nine years ago. There's no video on YT of the book's photo shoot but I have the DVD and have watched it too many times to count! After the pics do have a video from an event held on December 18, 2015 for the book.
