Didn't think I was going to be able to have this post until Wednesday but here we are two days early! Things working out well hasn't happened often enough this year as far as creating posts go and how nice it would be to end the year off on a strong note.... wishful thinking? Here's one of my all time favorite women and have gushed about Mizuki 😍 endlessly in most of her posts but the problem is there hasn't been enough of them over the last four years! In 2024 she had zero posts and what a quiet year she had after graduating from Morning Musume in November 2023. But this does make three posts for this year and all have been in the last six months, how I would love to see that pace continue. Mizuki's first post was done in the Spring of 2016 or 9 1/2 years ago, she's up to 38 which is an average of four posts a year. But how they slowed down after 2020 and still have never come up with a good reason why, was she letting other MM members take the spotlight and if so that did sadden me....
Now I'm feeling old and it won't be too long from now when the vast majority of posts will be for women over the age of thirty. This will be a large post but could have made it even bigger but told myself to hold back on some things as it's be nice to have her next post fairly soon but a lot of that depends on how busy Mizuki will be. She has continued her singing career, in April she released her first single which I thought was an okay song and Mizuki has been doing some concerts with three more coming up this month. While with Morning Musume every single reached the top five, that won't happen for Mizuki but that first single did hit the sixth position on the charts and glad to see she's returned to show biz. She also hosts a radio show that began in March and also works at the Hello Project office as she's kind of a trainer/mentor for those new to the world of J-Pop Idols!
Did say this post could have been larger but there will still be a hundred photos or so, with many being like those above could your heart have survived if there were more????! Though her birthday is the day before Halloween Mizuki doesn't seem to be a fan of the semi-ghoulish holiday as she had so few pics for it....
One thing Mizuki has always done a decent job at is posting photos at the Morning Musume blog page, actually all members do a solid job. She still posts pics there and these are from the last two months, there were more but just wanted to have her solo ones. The top pic is for her birthday while the bottom two are from an October 8th concert, she performed with an orchestra and the huge edge for Hello Project groups/singers is that they usually sing live at shows versus the '46' or '48' groups who seldom sing any songs live in concert.
No new magazine spreads for today which is a slight shock as Mizuki has a new photobook, more on that coming up. So let's have an encore viewing of her last spread and she was the cover girl for the May16th issue of Young Gangan. Found two new pics which were from the photo shoot and added those in, think this was her 20th time being the cover girl for the magazine.
Just got to thinking that I've never seen an ex-Hello Project member have a digital book and how so many of us would love to see Mizuki have one.... or more! She's getting close to thirty in age but looks better than ever to me though you could say Mizuki's 😍 always looked beyond perfect! So the above and some pics below are brand new, how about a comparison to this large oldie but goldie spread from the March 17, 2017 issue of Young Gangan and did just say how she's been their cover girl about twenty times.
There's some women who I check up on every day to see if there's any current news, those tend to be the busier gals. But in the case of Mizuki I may only look for her recent happenings once a week as she can go long stretches without having anything to post about. So it came as a surprise to me as I just learned three weeks ago that her eleventh photobook was going to be released on her 29th birthday. There were actually two books that came out on that day which was October 30th, their titles are "Versl'Aube" and "Ruriai". The kinds of pictures in the books were from the same photo shoots, the main difference is the first book is much larger dimension wise, A4 for the first and size B5 for the second which would be smaller than the dimensions of a magazine. All the photos are different and for the photo shoot Mizuki traveled to Vietnam which is becoming a common place for books. Below are some promo pics for the books, the top two are the covers and while all the pics rate a 10/10 that bottom one is my favorite....
On November 1st Mizuki held an event for the book, the pics below are from that. At it Mizuki did say this would be her final book(s) while still in her twenties but of course hope that she'll put all others to shame with many books after she turns thirty!
Sometimes I do think of What If scenarios but not so much for Mizuki. For instance what would have happened if she joined Nogi instead of Morning Musume? She joined MM in 2011, about six months later Nogi was formed and she would have been quite young but there were two younger Nogi members. You would think Mizuki would have been more popular but then again would she have? For Nogi is such a huge group with 35+ members so she might have got lost in the mix, the huge advantage to being in Morning Musume is that they usually only had a dozen members. Plus she had ten photobooks while a member, with Nogi Mizuki would have had no more than two and if a third it would have been for her graduation. There's no videos to promote the books but there are DVD's with the special editions. Could have an oldie gravure video but instead after the pics is the PV for Mizuki's first solo single "Anniversary wa Iranai". It's the B-side to the single and didn't have it in her last post, thought why not give a slight boost to her singing career. That's after this sizzling batch of photos to end the post and in all honesty are there even five women who I post about who are more alluring than Mizuki?!!!!😍
