Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Miku Tanaka... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nashiko Momotsuki: Her twinkling "Last Summer Vacation" digital book and a tad more....

In the post right below this one said this year's faves list would only have eight women which is partially true. The countdown will go from eighth to first but think I will add on two after the list is done so a pair can get credit for making this year's list which is often the highlight of many women's year! Nashiko will have no problem making the list and for the second time may crack the top five which doesn't happen often with gravure models but she does much more than modeling. This makes it fourteen posts for Nashiko this year which is slightly higher than usual and overall this was her best year in a while. From 2022-24 her magazine spreads, digital books and whatever else would come in spurts, I could do three posts for her in a month then go two months with zero. But this has been a much more consistent year for Nashiko so for the fifth time in eight years will make my fave's list. Sunday is the final day of November and I usually take that off. Hope this isn't the last post for the month but as of now have zero to post for tomorrow though I often can pull an ace out of my sleeve....

This is rare for me doing a post so late in November for a woman who will make the yearly fave's list but if Nashiko finishes around the fifth position her post wouldn't be until December 16th. So that should give me plenty of time to work on a post for her and she did have a new magazine spread come out two days ago and will have that in her next post. This makes it 88 overall for Nashiko and what a pace she's somehow maintained for over seven years! Post #1 was done on August 30, 2018 or 87 months ago, this being her 88th post it's hard to believe that she's been able to have a pace of a post a month for so long.

The tad more in the title is correct as there's just two minor things besides the book. On November 8th Nashiko hit the age of thirty, the following day she held two events with her fan club to celebrate and below are some photos from it. She does love to partake in the spirits so the the presents in the second to last pic must have made her year!!!! The top photo was from November 10th and on the set of the M-League show which is about Mahjong. This is the first time I've ever seen Nashiko with this year's #1 Queen Akari and wonder if there are more photos of them together? To me it seems the pair could/should be close friends, their ages are somewhat close and both love the game of Mahjong plus both do enjoy a few many drinks now and again....

To promote the new digital book Nashiko was the cover girl for the November 3rd issue of Young Magazine and how many covers did she grace this year? The bottom two are from the photo shoot and don't know if it's true but did read a week ago there was another version of "Yodonna" released and if so I haven't found it yet. That's the name of Nashiko's character from the "Mashin Sentai Kiramager" series that aired in 2020/21, Yodonna was so popular there's been six spinoff episodes that featured her in the lead role.

On to the digital book that the Young Magazine released on October 24th and contains eighty sweltering pics. It's about time for another regular photobook as Nashiko's only had one to date yet about forty of these. For the photo shoot Nashiko traveled to the island of Shikoku and the prefecture of Ehime, it was her first time visiting the place. The title "Last Summer Vacation" refers to it being Nashiko's last Summer while in her twenties but to me she looks better at thirty than she did at 25, even then she looked to super duper! At Nashiko's YT channel is a video of the photo shoot, have that after these dazzling pics.
