Air Dates: October 15th until December 17, 2019 on TBS, Thursdays at 10:00 pm
Average Rating: 7.7%, subs were done by Aoihachi
Also goes by the title of You and I on the G-String

Main Cast: Not sure what city this takes place in but it's set in Ishikawa prefecture, perhaps the city of Kanazawa? At the beginning of the first show it was mid April 2018 and by it's end it was already June. These episodes take place during December 2019.

Haru as Yaeko Kogure.... 28 year old woman who quit her OL job in the first episode and also then she was dumped by her boyfriend. Shortly after that Yaeko heard Mao playing the violin at an event to draw new students, she was hooked on becoming a master right from that moment. At the moment Yaeko is still unemployed living with her parents.

Taishi Nakagawa as Rihito Kase.... College student who is twenty and lives at home with his married brother, his wife and the parents. Rihito too heard Mao playing the violin at the event and joined her class but he does have a past with her.

Yuki Matsushita as Yukie Kitagawa.... The third student in the class who also attended the event held in a mall. Yukie is much older than the other pair as she's in her forties, she has a husband and an eleven year old daughter but isn't too happy with her marriage. Had to leave the trio back in the third show due to her mother-in-law having a stroke but is about to rejoin.

Yuki Sakurai as Mao Kuzumi.... Works as a violin instructor at a musical school and is teaching the three newbies above. She's 28 in age and was recently dumped by her boyfriend, of all people it was Rihito's brother and Rihito does have a crush on Mao.

Nobuyuki Suzuki as Yuto Kase.... Rihito's brother who is about 27 in age and works in an office. He had been Mao's boyfriend but got another woman pregnant and had to marry her.

Karen Takizawa as Fumi Kase.... Yuto's pregnant wife and actually quite a nice woman.

Would probably help to skim through the links above a bit if you haven't already read them. This will be one of the lamer posts I've done but there's a few reasons for it. But it will be a longish post which I'll explain in the next paragraph. Was going to skip recapping the final four episodes and in a way will just be doing the final one. It's not even April yet but I've already viewed five dramas, parts of another and recapped four of them. Plus I've watched at least ten '46' variety shows so am getting a tad burnt out early in the year with viewing things which is why I'm taking a partial break with this post.

What this post will consist of are all of the screenshots for the seventh, eighth and ninth episodes. They go in order so actually maybe anyone interested in this drama will find it easier to see what took place by viewing the screenshots. Have never done this before and probably never will but as mentioned have been getting slightly burnt out lately and also this drama has attracted such a low amount of views. But will have a very brief overview with what happened with the four major characters before the screenshots. Episode seven has fifty of them, the eighth show 47 and the ninth 46.

**** The next post is the recap for the final episode and not going to view it until this is written up, that'll be a regular recap.

Yaeko: Wanted to say that the time in this drama has really been flying. It started out in June 2018, it's May 2019 when episode seven began and by the end of the ninth show it's early December. Yaeko is our 'heroine' though certainly not a hero. After being out of work for over a year in July 2019 she obtained a job at Sun Renovation, Yaeko started out at the bottom but is moving up and as you can tell by the company's name they're into renovating houses and buildings. The main drawback though is Yaeko doesn't have as much time to practice the violin and actually her two mates don't either.

But Yaeko has really fallen in love with the instrument and to her it gave her the motivation to start trying again after being in such a blah period for so long. Even without as much practice Yaeko has still improved quite a bit and at the end of the eighth show the trio did give their second performance which was so much better than their disastrous first one. Meanwhile there is romance blooming for Yaeko and it's with Rihito who is 7 1/2 years younger. They pair are dating and Rihito even called Yaeko his girlfriend in front of his mates, the two do get along so well. But at the end of the ninth show Yaeko thought things were moving a bit too quickly so for now she's put that relationship on hold.

Rihito: When the show began he was nineteen but in episode eight he turned 21, as I said the time has been flying in this show. Rihito is in his third year of college and is already going on job interviews, he wants to be a sports/physical therapist. He's the most talented of the trio at the violin and even with a long stretch of not practicing he's still the best, didn't help him when his prized bow broke. Rihito has gotten over his rejection from Mao and he's really become so much more mature in the eighteen months since the drama began. Rihito did have a cute classmate named Yua who was after him but she's now no longer a factor, am curious to see if he gets back to dating Yaeko in the final show.

Yukie: As in the first six recaps Yukie has had household problems but seems to solve all of them. She's the least talented at the violin but seems to enjoy playing it more than the other two. But have to say that to me the Yukie character has dragged this show down a little. She always had some sort of issue at home and it kind of got tiring after a while. So many times that prevented the trio from practicing and I was hoping to see more violin playing in this series. There was for the first few shows and in the eighth but overall not as much as I expected but have learned some things about the instrument.

Mao: The final character that I'll discuss briefly and she was the above three's violin teacher. Say was and that's because Mao has a severe problem with her left hand. So severe that when she was performing a solo piece at a concert she had to halt the show as her fingers were hurting too much to go on. Mao eventually quit the music school and looks like she has to give up the violin which she truly loves, at 28 in age she doesn't know how to do anything else. In the ninth episode she even went to apply for a job as a waitress at a cafe which shocked me and Yaeko who she had run into. Mao seems intent on quitting the violin as she had given Yaeko her instrument in the eighth show but lied saying she was buying a new one. With the musical talents Mao has can't believe she may give it all up, there has to be something she can do in that field and hope she turns that way in the final show.

So finally here's the screenshots for these three episodes and perhaps you'll enjoy these more than my writing, all go in order of what took place.
