Akari Suda: Who better to have my semi-return with?!?!?!?!

 

 Even though I had gone nine days without a post the amount of daily views this blog receives was about the same so thanks to all who kept visiting here. I know what that's like when one of your favorite blogs doesn't have any new posts for a while as I visit many others and most have nothing to do with Japanese Idols, gravure models, dramas, etc. But to date 9,000 posts have been done so that means there's so many older things which are worth checking out and bet that was happening during my somewhat short and unannounced hiatus. Having a post a day is nice or actually I try to average 1.5 posts a day but it may take me another week or so to get back to speed. During that break did zero as far as working on posts go except for this one but think if I ease back into things my enthusiasm may return and truly hope so.

 As the post title says who better to return with than Akari 😍 and let's face it, for a while now she has been my #1 woman of all time! Not by default either though wish her two closest rivals who are both ex-Keya members were giving more of a battle! Was planning on having my first return post tomorrow but Akari will he having an event for her second photobook. So wanted to get this done before it took place and in 10-14 days will have a post with pics from it and hopefully a video. This is Akari's 13th post since December 1st, she started out the 'Nao Year' a bit slowly but has had seven posts in the last three months. That ties her for having the most posts to date and what's also close to being a tie is for who will be my number one woman for 2025 as both those with 13 posts are in a virtual dead heat!

 Right above are two pics from Akari's second photobook "Pluie" which came out three months ago. It's been a decent seller and there was a reprinting which is one reason for tomorrow's event. But it's also to promote a digital version of the book and below are some pics from it which Akari had at her IG page, those bottom two ensure another sleepless night for me 😍.... top one is close to perfect also!

 What I really enjoy about Akari's posts are that they have such a variety of things. Many of the photos are from recent activities but am still able to find many older things that had never been posted before. Plus I do have encore viewings of older magazine spreads and such for most have been forgotten about or perhaps had never been seen. In all of Akari's posts include older SKE cards for the month but am slowly running out of ones that had never been posted. But that's okay as it means other kinds of cards can be posted such as for SKE's singles or ones like the batch below which are for their 2012 Summer tour and more will be in future posts.

 At one time used to have quite a few group posts for SKE but they're a rarity these days and don't know why but after 2021 they became almost impossible to do. For today have a pair of older SKE magazine spreads which features other members besides Akari such as Nao in this first set and she is someone who has had the odd post here and there as I like her immensely. This set is from the January 2015 issue of Bomb and in all honesty don't think I had ever had this spread in a post before.

 Aya in the above set was also someone I liked quite a bit and was often featured in older SKE posts. Sure very few will be in agreement but besides having the best singles of any 46/48 group SKE also had the hottest members(to me) and I should check out their current gals as some have had some recent photobooks. This second oldie but goldie set is another from Bomb and their March 2017 edition, joining Akari is once again Nao and also Ryoha who is still active in show biz but haven't heard much fabout her lately.

 There's a few other things I could post but don't want to use all of my cache up so will save those for Akari's next post but still have two more batches with about 45 new photos! Akari hails from Aichi which isn't far from Nagoya and that's the home base for SKE. What I've said in many prior posts is how impressed I am with how Akari promotes her area so heavily and though she could be more popular living in Tokyo she remains in Aichi so Akari should be commended for that. Akari is a huge sports fan and for the second time threw out the first pitch at a Chunichi Dragons game, their opponent were the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. The honor took place at the Toyohashi Municipal Stadium in Toyohashi which is in Aichi prefecture. Below are some pics from the event and what bums me out is that there was no video from the game but you didn't miss much as it was far from being a strike!

 Almost forgot to mention that "Otookgami" is the title of her second movie, think it'll be coming out in September and will have more info in the future, she does have the lead female role. As is the case for most Akari posts will end off with many pics from her IG page, hard to explain why but to me these pics are so terrific and need to have a few posts featuring the top ones from the past decade. The first pic features her best friend Yuria and how I adore her to no end, have been promising a 'Pairs Post' with the duo and that will be happening somewhat soon. After the pics is a short video for her second photobook, some is live while other parts are just pictures but for any fan I do recommend viewing it.
