Yuki Yoda: Her slightly unbelated(?).... Happy 25th Birthday post!!!!

To date think a little over 160 posts have been done  for the year and while all have been terrific or better to this may be the best post of them all and that's my early prediction as this is only the first sentence! Hopefully can have a post later on or perhaps tomorrow for my not far from being my #1 woman of all time Yui 😍 from Keya. For almost six years she's had my number one photo of all time and that pic has led off more posts than any other photo! Didn't count how many it was but it has to be over ten posts, in second place for lead off photos for a post is the top one above!!!! I know Yuki has more revealing and sweltering pics but that first one for this post is my favorite from her, when I gape at it for too long my imagination goes into such a hyper drive....

Back in February and March did a trio of comeback posts for Yuki as she didn't have any posts for two years. She had fallen out of favor with me but knew she would make a return, the reasons for all are in those posts and am not going to rehash what was said back then today. After that third post could have had a fourth and the reason it wasn't done was because of her immense popularity here!!!! Those three posts plus the one for her second photobook that came out in  2020 were all in that section for 'Most viewed posts for the last thirty days' so wanted to let those die out. That was a first as no woman has ever had four posts in that section at once, think twice someone has had a trio of posts and even having two is quite an accomplishment. So even with that long gap between posts Yuki didn't lose any of her fans and sometimes it really helps me or possibly you viewers too taking a long break from something or someone. It cleared my head on why I stopped doing posts for Yuki and I'm looking forward to many more of these this year.

The above four pics are from Yuki's third photobook that came out in February, she also has two mini books. I always wait at least three months before posting an Idol book which means a post for it could be done on May 15th. But will wait until June 1st and it's still selling somewhat well as it was in the top ten again for sales last week. Then the plan is to have a post a month after that and think it will be possible for a while. There's still some things to post from 2023/24 and will have some for today, since her February graduation from Nogi Yuki hasn't been all that busy as after being a J-Pop Idol for almost nine years may have needed a break but think her semi hiatus is coming to an end. So I hope she can hit at least six posts for the year which is how many are needed to qualify for the yearly faves list. That first ever list was done in 2015 so 2024 meant the tenth list was done, every single year at least one Nogi member or graduate has made my top ten. However 2025 could break that streak as I can't see anyone else coming close to getting six posts save for Yuki and perhaps one second generation gal...

Gulp, know she's made us(me) gasp too many times to count!!!! Birthday #25 doesn't take place until Monday which is May 5th but no big deal being two days early as I'm sure very few pics from the occasion will appear. Yuki just did open a fan club so has so few recent pics at her IG page so won't have any of those for today and it is becoming common for ex-Idols to have a fan club. Do have some older birthday pics below, don't think a club party is planned as the site is brand new and I bet she will have more fans than any other graduated Idol.

In those other 'comeback posts' think most of Yuki's missed Nogi cards for 2024 were in them, now let's move on to 2023 and will have one more batch in her next post.

Also in that next post will be some modeling pics for Bis magazine, she doesn't appear in many of their issues but always has many pics at their site. The same goes for Maquia and Yuki is also a model for them, below are some new pics from the last two months that were at their site and hope we see more of these kinds of photos in the future as all get a grade of an A++++ from me!

Haven't seen Yuki in the 2018 drama "Mob Psycho" which she had a good sized role in and don't know why I've never viewed it. Did view Nogi's 2019 group series "Zambi" that I really enjoyed and she did such a terrific acting job in that show. Three years later Yuki had the lead role in the "Ryosangata Riko: Puramo Joshi no Jinsei Kumitate ki" drama, that one too I enjoyed quite a bit and did recap all ten episodes. There's been two sequels to that series and vow to recap both of them, the second in the trio is titled "Ryosangata Riko: Mo Hitori no Puramo Joshi no Jinsei Kumitate ki" which aired in 2023. Yuki has the lead role in all three of the series and plays the role of Riko Komukai, seems to be a popular show if it's had two sequels and will a fourth season be airing later this year?

So have been working on getting the second series and do have the first two episodes. Not sure when I will begin recapping it but was thinking may do something I've never done before which is to write up all ten recaps but hold off on publishing them. Don't know if that would save time or make things easier for me so why not say June is when I will do posts for all ten episodes. This second season is so much different than the the first and below are some screenshots from episode one. While most of the cast from the first season returned their roles and character names are different as the events are taking place in some sort of parallel universe! It's not a sci-fi show as it's similar to the Korean drama "Start Up" as Riko and two of her ex-college mates are beginning a new company. To me the best part of the first season was when Riko would visit the Yajima Model Shop and that got me interested in them but they are more difficult to find in America versus Japan. Making models somehow helped Riko out immensely with her career, all in all do recommend that first season.

For the years 2018-22 bet no Nogi member appeared in more magazines than Yuki but they slowed down since then though can say the same of many other J-Pop Idols. Hmmmm, does make me wonder if the Japanese public hasn't grown weary of most current groups and Idols. To an extent I have but not for the women who I've been following for a while. So even though I had gone a while with zero posts really didn't miss all that many spreads and have posted a few of those missed ones in her previous posts. But there still a few more to get to but will spread them out a bit, this set is from the June/July 2024 issue of Entame. Yuki is almost always the cover girl for the magazines she appears in, this mag was once a monthly one but three years ago went to an issue every other month.

This second spread is one that was posted before and it's almost five years old but there's a good reason to have it again.... one reason is because it's semi-historical and the other is because I think it's among her best ever. This spread is from July 29, 2020 issue of Weekly Shonen and how many times has a Nogi, Hina or Keya member been their cover girl?!?! Long time fans may recall that Yuki once had very long hair but for her twentieth birthday which took place on May 5, 2020 she cut it very short and she said it was the first time in five years it had bene cut! That was a twenty minute segment on one of those 'Nogi 48 hours' special shows and did have screenshots from that in a post done about five years ago. You can see in current photos that Yuki has let her hair grow back, of course she still looks mighty fine but I will admit I preferred her shorter tresses and it does make her look more grown up. Why this spread is a bit historical is that it was Yuki's first one after chopping off those long locks....

Did say earlier that on June 1st will be posting Yuki's third photobook, it contains so many breathtaking pics but think her second book is slightly better. Two months after the book's release a set of seven bonus photos came out, thought now would be a good time to have these and now that she's no longer with Nogi will that third photobook be the last time we see any Yuki gravure pics?

To wrap things up have two sets of photos from an event that took place today, her first public activity since her February Nogi departure. While with the group Yuki always ended those large fashion shows and glad to see that will continue. Today which is May 3rd she was at the Spring 'Girls Award' show and took a pair of strolls on the catwalk. The show took place at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium and this first walk was on the An Mille stage.

I like this outfit much more and Yuki's second stroll on a catwalk too place on the Samantha Vega stage. Plenty of other past and current '46' members were also at the show and hope to have some posts for a few of them. There haven't been any recent videos so after the pics have one from a Bis photo shoot that came out five months ago and hadn't had it in a post before this.
