Sayaka Tomaru: Her searing fourth photobook "10" scans....

 

 Never hurts to make any comments or to request something, can't always grant you that wish but if it's for someone I like a lot will work on fulfilling that request. Someone did ask for this book a few weeks back and sorry for not giving an answer as I truly kept forgetting to. Did have this photobook when the request was made but for regular books always wait at least three months before posting them and this was released in December. So could have had this last month but did have a post for a Sayaka digital book that I wanted to get to first so this makes it a pair of posts in less than a month. For the last few years that's how the posts from Sayaka have been, will have 3-4 in four months then zero for the next few months. There's others who I post about whose posts are also sporadic and to me would rather have one post a month versus six months of two posts and six months of zero, both add up to be a dozen. Have only been doing one post a day again and that's just because I've been strapped for time recently, hopefully can do a slew of posts starting this weekend.

 As the heading says the title of this photobook is "10" and it was for Sayaka's tenth anniversary of being in show biz. She did a little bit of gravure work at the end of 2014 but wasn't a full time model until 2016 and as they say the rest is history! Before becoming very popular as a gravure model Sayaka had been in the J-Pop group FYT and have posted a few of their videos. Like so many groups the songs were decent and better than most that become hits but seems the groups with better songs are the ones that don't become stars and what a brutal field J-Pop is. At one time the music did mean quite a bit as far as popularity goes but not as much these days when image is the #1 factor, having members appear in dramas and do many gravure spreads is the key these days to how popular a group becomes. Oooops, veered off track for a while and this book was released on December 27th so it was about ten years after Sayaka's first gravure pics. It's hard to believe how many digital books she has, seventy is my estimate but this is only her fourth regular photobook. My top Sayaka book is "MeeTomaru" that came out in January 2020 and until now didn't realize it had been almost five years between regular books but least we had too many digital ones to count. This is a huge book with 140 pics and for the photo shoot Sayaka traveled to Thailand, no need to tell you how steamy so many of these pictures are....
