Nao Kanazaki: Another update about the mini break plus the top ten most popular faves for 2020....

Don't think this is the official return but there's quite a few posts for today, eleven(?) including this one. The original plan was to take off from the 21st to the 23rd, not from creating posts but from publishing them and said that in the previous update post. But actually it would have been about a six day break as I wanted to test out the new Blogger which I haven't done yet and honestly don't know what to expect. Know there will be many changes creating posts but for the most part think this home page will remain the same. But after doing four posts a thought crept in my tiny mind, 'When the switch takes place on the 24th will all of these drafts be affected?'.

Went to the Blogger help center and asked that question but no one gave a reply. So don't want to take a chance and see much of my effort possibly ruined(?) or at least changed so decided to post all of the drafts that would have been published from the 24th to the 27th today. This will be the last batch of posts for 3-4 days for as I've mentioned it's going to take some experimenting with the new version. But on the bright side there's plenty of posts to keep you occupied, such a fabulous one is right above this. Following this post are four for gravure models, few drama recaps and a pair of regular posts, am writing this up a day in advance so perhaps there will be another one or two.

****EDIT: It's now the 23rd and am about to publish this after the ten below this. Just wanted to add in I have a sneaking suspicion the new version may be pushed back a week or it's the impression I got after visiting the help center. If you're a fellow Blogger and know a few of you are drop a comment if you know the exact schedule for things, any kinds of problems you're having with the new version and any tips or help, thanks.

****EDIT#2: Will be doing another special post on Thursday as yet another record will be set for the fastest million views. Have a unique list for that milestone and if you go down three posts you can read the details in Minami's post.

So as an added bonus have the list for the top ten most popular gals here. It's by how many views their average posts get, I just compiled the stats and the numbers are for which gals you viewers like the most. Have noticed that many of you really enjoy these 'stats posts' and the last one made the top ten for most views. So hope you also enjoy this one and sadly Rika above is not a fave of many of you though at one time she was one of the most popular women here. She's dropped down all the way to 16th on the list for views but not on mine as she was #3 on that second preliminary list.

Last year the #1 most popular woman had an average of 1,105 for her posts and bet that figure has gone up to at least 1,200 or probably much higher. Am talking about Risa who I thought would be battling it out for this year's top spot again but sadly it'll be a struggle for her to remain in the top ten. She's also fallen out of favor with so many viewers as her seven posts this year just have an average of 448, the period I looked at for the stats were from December 1st until July 31st. Of course when the year end list is done everyone's average will be higher, think that 1,105 number from last year will be broken and perhaps by a lot.

Will work from tenth to number one in order to build the suspense and hope that stein of lager is filled! Will have a few pics from their most viewed post and also a link to it, sure hope the link function hasn't changed as I use it so often in these lists. The only criteria was that someone needed five posts as of August 1st and from that first list done in June three dropped off. One is Rena and the reason she did was because she only has four posts for the year. She would have made the top ten and what a quiet year it's been for her, she averaged over twenty posts a year from 2017-19.

#10.... Nanase Nishino, her twelve posts averaged 527 views

Last year Nanase was the 17th most popular person here so she's moved way up or is it a case of too many others dropping? On the first list her rank was fifth but that was mainly because there weren't as many eligible. Her posts haven't slowed down at all this year, for 2019 she had the second most and is currently tied for fourth this year.

#9.... Yui Kobayashi with an average of 529 for eight posts

Tight battle for ninth which is where Yui landed on the first list. The reason for her remaining in the top ten is her July 1st photobook post which is her most popular one ever. Having a photobook post certainly helps your average and that's been the case for four in the top ten. Then again it means six didn't have a PB as their most viewed post which actually pleases me.

#8.... Mai Shiraishi, an average of 546 for seven posts

That doesn't include her post from a week ago but still eight for the year is so low for Mai. It's not just tight between tenth and ninth but really for the positions between five to ten as the difference between them was just a little over fifty views a post.. All of her posts are decent but don't understand why this one from April 20th is her most viewed one of the year to date.

#7.... Yume Hayashi, her five posts have an average of 560 views

This is a pleasant surprise, knew Yume was becoming popular here but not to this extent as she's topped many huge faves. She's been my #2 gravure model for about a year and may soon take over the number position. That person is a big friend of her's who is Nashiko who made the first list back in June and was the eighth most popular but sadly has dropped off the list.

#6.... Miona Hori, her nine posts up until August 1st have averaged 574

The 'Nao Year' goes from December 1st until November 30th, her most viewed post was the final one done for 2019. This is another pleasant surprise and want to add in she does have more than nine posts but haven't included any from dramas or any other kind of special post. Miona has thirteen to date but make that fourteen as the lead post for today is from her second photobook. So I would imagine her rank will go up a few positions by the end of the year as it's one super duper PB which should get well over a thousand views. On the list there's three current Nogi members and in tenth place is a grad from the group.

#5.... Nana Owada, her six posts have an average of 583 views.

Couple of nice surprises above, this one is too but for the wrong reason. Nana's popularity has really dropped this year, in 2019 her posts averaged ~1,095 views but as you can see she's well below that figure this year. Can't understand why as her six posts have had some outstanding pics though it's been almost two months since her last post and perhaps she's been a bit forgotten about..

#4.... Mio Imada, an average of 700 for her eleven posts

Huge difference between fourth and fifth but wouldn't doubt if Mio will drop one spot by the end of the year. What's helped her out tremendously as that she's had three posts for photobooks(!), two were from 2018 while the link above is the one for her 2020 PB. Those posts average close to a thousand views but her regular ones pale in comparison as they only average about 450.

#3.... Minami Tanaka, an average of 892 views for her nine posts

Having had a photobook made all the difference in the world for this position. Minami's first PB has had over 3,100 views, without it her average would drop to 614 and she's be in fifth place which is still impressive too. Of course most know she was my #1 fave for last year and hasn't slowed down at all with nine posts already, will have her tenth one in about two weeks.

#2.... Kazusa Okuyama, her seven posts have an average of 1,010 views

Not all photobooks are the most viewed ones for a fave, the top two's most popular posts weren't for a book though those have had a huge amount of views. What a huge gap it is between the top two and everyone else, the pair will be duking it out until the end. The current #1 has a somewhat big lead at the moment but to me Kazusa has become the biggest fave of you viewers and it wouldn't shock me if she ended up number one by the end of the year.

#1.... Yuki Yoda, seven posts that have averaged 1,075 views

Whoever ends up with the highest average will top last year's figure of 1,105. That average was as of the end of 2019 so as mentioned above sure it's gone up to perhaps 1,200 or higher. I like Yuki a lot myself and so much more than a year ago, she really is such a delightful person. It appears many of you think that way too but am kind of surprised she's so far ahead of her Nogi mates as far as average goes and she should have her eighth solo post coming up very soon.
