Have been taking a day off each week due to the slowdown in happenings, usually it's been Mondays but this time around will make it tomorrow so this should be the last post until Wednesday night. Been a while since a Mai solo post and have been trying to work on one without much success until now. She's been extremely quiet lately save for appearing on music shows promoting the new single, those shows have had no fans in attendance.
Mai's posts are just so consistent, her last five are all within a hundred views of each other though thought they would be more popular. Think many are yearning for more gravure pics which is a rarity these days but she'll always looks like a few trillion yen to me regardless of how she's clad. No idea what's going on with Mai's graduation, if things had worked out according to plan she would have left already. But of course everything has gone haywire this past month so no sense leaving Nogi yet if there's nothing else going on and at least the group is somewhat busy.
But there never was an official graduation concert or two scheduled for Mai's departure which was a bit odd, originally she was going to leave Nogi shortly after their 25th single was released. Perhaps she'll remain until her 28th birthday which happens to be exactly four months from today but for now no one has any idea of what will be happening. Gulp, should have asked her last night about what the future holds but my tongue was sort of tied, gulp....
Not a huge post for brand new things as Mai hasn't been too busy as of late and actually the past year she's really slowed down on her activities compared to prior years. But do have a pair of new mag spreads, a CM and many Nogi cards you've never seen before. "Shiawase no Hogoshoku" was the title of Mai's final Nogi single, sales have been solid but not as high as previous singles. The song itself is just so-so but her solo tune on the single was a decent song. Few screenshots here of the group performing the new single on the April 3rd 'Music Station' show.
Mentioned that there would be some Nogi cards, have about 25 of them for today and this first batch are all somewhat new.
Have some older Nogi cards for their 'NogiKoi' mobile phone game.
At the bottom of the post will have a new Mai CM for Cyper Tokyo and their 'Code: D-Blood' smartphone game and like how she looks as she may fit in well in a Cyper Punk movie.
Have a pair of new Mai mag spreads with this firs tone being from a special Flash issue called 'Best of Spring 2020'. It's a mini look back on Mai's years in Nogi, second mag that's had a special feature like this and why not an entire photobook then of her Nogi days? Come to think of it her ex mate Nanami had a photobook in that vein.
She's the cover girl for the new issue of Young Magazine dated for May 4th.
Mai's "Passport" photobook has really seen a resurgence as it's been in the top ten for sales the past five weeks and it came out over three years ago! It's passed 400,000 in sales and why hasn't there been a followup to the book, what a great graduation gift that would be to fans. Will end off with some ultra dazzling pics which is followed by her new CM.... EDIT: Of course it was deleted....
